Darrah decided that today was a day for adventure, this was the first time he'd ever felt like wandering away from the pack. He wasn't exactly sure where he was but he knew it hadn't been too far from home, it just didn't feel like the pup had been walking that long! Plus, he still had his sense of direction.. His surroundings still looked exactly the same.. He was fine! Or so he told himself. The boy needed to suppress his anxiety. His sister did whatever she wanted to, she was a free spirit. "I guess I could learn from her after all.." the murky male exhaled.
A lot of wolves had been talking about how 'the snow was coming' again in his pack. They would speak of how traveling was hard in the cold months. The Tainn knew that if he wanted to wander even a bit this year then today was his day. "Now or never." he huffed as he continued his hike to nowhere in particular."..The leaves are dying more and more now... And the air is even colder than it was a few days ago. What's even up with that?" he chuckled to himself. Some wolves found the weather change disgusting, but Darrah found it beautiful. If winter where anything like this, he couldn't understand what was so wrong with it.
Lost in a daze, the boy almost left the scent of another pup go un-noticed. Almost. "W-Who's there?!?!" he quaked.
