good ol' times - Inali - Nov 13, 2014 @Bane Surprise! [dohtml] Speech. The petite fae found herself wandering the territory, though now no longer wandering aimlessly. She was on a mission, and that was to find the young guardian-in-training. Since Bane had joined the pack, she had only interacted with him a couple times until now. Sometimes when she did her daily patrols, he would tag along and follow her in his usual silent manner. Sometimes she would chatter his ear off, which he probably found annoying but was kind enough not to say anything, or she would also be silent, which was unsual for her. Inali was a Chatty Cathy, but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy those periodic times in life to just soak up the silence and beauty of her surroundings. Either way, she had grown fond of the yearling. Had been fond of him ever since she had met him as a lost pup of Secret Woodlands. What could she say? She was a pup lover. So she found herself tracking his scent, trying to know where she could find him. She missed the dark lad's silent company, for she was constantly out of the territory either meeting up with Naia or trying to stock up by hunting for the upcoming winter approaching. Already, her summer coat had shed and now her darker, more pronounced in color winter coat, started coming in. So with silent, easy steps, her muzzle to the ground, she continued to track the boy's scent. She wondered how the boy felt, with Secret Woodlands right around the corner and them being enemies. Inali wouldn't push him to talk, for Bane liked his silence and probably the privacy of his thoughts, though she wanted him to know that the scout was there if he needed her. Noticing that his scent was growing stronger, her tail wagged in excitement. She lifted her muzzle from the ground and called out warmly, "Bane?" RE: good ol' times - Bane - Nov 20, 2014 I really only just now saw this, since I don't get on his account as often but... THIS EXCITES ME.
[dohtml] His meeting with @Firefly had more or less been awful. The very thought made him cringe and since then Bane had been extra careful to avoid the newer members of Black Thorn Downs. He quietly did his job, listening to the commands of his Leaders, more so specifically @Tokino for who when given the opportunity, he would train with. He would follow @Inali for a time, scenting her out though keeping his distance - as long as she was alright, then he needed not intrude on her duties. And then there was @Kova who from time to time would follow him about, asking questions. Normally such a confrontation and badgering would put the older male off, but the youth seemed to know when to back off and give Bane some time to think when needed. RE: good ol' times - Inali - Nov 26, 2014 @Bane [dohtml] Speech. He answered her questioning call with a 'woof' and her tail wagged excitedly as she turned and headed his way. A grin spread across her maw as she saw his familiar dark figure and her tail seemed to wag even faster. "Bane!," she called out excitedly. "I've been looking for you," she stated with the usual warmth in her voice, her blue eyes bright with excitement at finally sitting down and getting a chance to just sit and relax with him. She easily layed down beside him, her small form seeming even more tiny against his tall, masculine frame. Her grin formed into a soft smile as she stretched to lick his muzzle in an affectionate manner. Pulling away, she laid her head against her paws, her blue orbs staring right into his bright, orange ones. They passed over his figure for a moment, seeing the slight changes of time. You just get handsomer every day," she spoke with a teasing light in her orbs. Making him squirm seemed to become a favorite past time of hers. Even though she was happy to be with him, Inali worried slightly. She was no longer hiding her relationship with Naia, so he would more than likely be able to scent the woman's heavy scent on her pelt. Would he treat her different? Would he no longer care for her? Trying to distract herself from her depressing thoughts, she opened her maw to ask him a question. "How're you liking Black Thorn Downs so far? Your training? I hope Kino isn't working you too hard." The woman chuckled lightly but still in the back of her mind, she wondered of his rection. RE: good ol' times - Bane - Dec 10, 2014 [dohtml] In moments she had come to him, moving to settle close to his side in a lay as he still did lay upon the cool forest floor of their home. She reached to him and it was a surprise then he did not move away from it. Often or not he flinched or simply pulled away from those who wished to touch him, lest it be his Leaders, Nina or... well, her. He accepted her affectionate lick with a soft smile and jutting of his tongue, his tail once more thumping the ground hard in acceptance. When her head rested she stared at him a moment, their eyes meeting but not an ounce of authority passing between them. Being visually attracted to little women seemed to be a growing thing for Bane Aranna, not to mention those of earthy hues with mingling russet and rust. @Inali has always been a very pretty woman in his eyes, somehow even more apparent now to him as he aged. RE: good ol' times - Inali - Feb 14, 2015 @Bane [dohtml] Speech. Her tail thumped as his did, but instead of only once, it seemed continous. A bright smile overtook her features and her tail wagged. She was so happy to hear that things were going well with his chosen role. Opening her maw, Inali was eager to speak of her happiness to the young man. "I'm so glad Bane! Nothing makes me happier than to hear everything is going well for you. I want you to be happy here, darling. Happy and comfortable." She wanted Bane to be happy with his choice of Black Thorn Downs as his new home. She didn't want him to regret anything. She worried though. Bane had quickly become important to her, though they really hadn't known eachother for long. He had left her a lasting impression when he was just but a pup, even though it was clear to her he was no longer a pup in any way. He was quickly growing into a man. He didn't need Inali smothering him in her concern. Still, she couldn't keep the concern from shining in her blue orbs. "You know I don't mean to smother, right Bane? I just worry." She was not his mother though. She didn't really have the right to smother and coddle him. Whoever had partaken in his upbringing had held that right. Shaking her head to escape the melancholy of her thoughts, she connected her gaze with his and let the silence linger for a few moments. She turned away, continuing to dwell in the silence. It wasn't awkward, it was a sort of comfortable silence. Bane was not a young man of many words, and though Inali was always eager to fill the gap, she decided to let it linger for a time. Until a twinkle appeared in her orbs and she turned to the lanky yearling with another warm smile. "Would you like to hear about her?" She didn't have to elaborate, for she knew he would know whom she was speaking of. She enjoyed talking, and it seemed Bane enjoyed listening. Though she always kept in mind to control her chatterbox tendencies. Everyone would get annoyed sometime, and the teen was probably no exception. RE: good ol' times - Bane - Mar 28, 2015 Inali was most certainly not shy when it came to speaking up about how happy she was to know he had been doing well in the pack thus far. Since the moment he had met the woman as a young child, Inali had been concerned with the safety and well being of him. It could not have made him more happy, which was shown with more wagging of his tail as it swooshed back and forth along the ground. "Thank you..." The words whisper from his dark lips, which turn up further in a smile as he kept his lay upon the ground, lower then she, as he usually found himself in life. Though he was not a large wolf by any means (nothing like Tokino, or even Koda and Miccah) he was not a small guy ether, as Lugh's stature was. It was his lack of dominance which kept him in lower placements and his lack of bold nature or vain worth towards himself. He was fiercely protective and willing to take those down who threatened those he cared for, but caring for himself was a whole other matter. "Yes, I know." Another light smile and he reaches out, touching his nose to the very base of her chest as she stood before him. Silence passed between the couple, which he spent pleasantly in, comforted by her presence. She knew him well, accepting of his lack of words and so replaced them with her own and when not doing this, was fine with stepping into his paws and just being.
Then, some time later, the silence stirs with the melody of her voice, and then his... "Yes, I would love that." He replies, a wave of his tail further confirming his interest in the woman Inali was talking about. She visited the girl often, smelling of her coating in such a thick manner it was as though they spent much time in one anothers embrace. Bane had naturally not have thought anything of it, nor was it any of his business - until now, at least, granted he would be given the answers to his secret questions. RE: good ol' times - Inali - Apr 25, 2015 [dohtml]
[/dohtml] RE: good ol' times - Bane - Apr 28, 2015 [dohtml] It was very interesting for Bane to listen to Inali speak of this woman, to know that she was attracted to a female instead of a male. Surely Inali, just as her female love, had a yearning within her to breed, to have children... a thing which was in need of a male. Though perhaps he was gone? Perhaps they were not a Leader type and so did not have that desire for children, only a love, passion and trust in one another. He thought to himself, as he always did, trying to figure out the concept... after all, Bane knew very little of what it was like to be a man, to have these desires, to want children... He was only just learning himself. [/dohtml]
As she continued, he wanted to know this Naia, to meet her. Already he learned that she was not only a scout of her pack but a Second in command as well. It was the same task and same position which Inali herself held and not to mention they were both petite women. A perfect pair. "I'd like to meet her..." He mumbled lightly, a smile moving over his dark lips as Inali's own smile, the light which was brought to her eyes at talking about Naia, the laughter in her voice. It was beautiful... and anything or anyone that made Inali this happy was worth getting to know. Then, as often Inali did in order to get Bane to open up, the tables were turned onto him. He was silent a moment, his eyes turning away from her as a single dark chocolate ear turned down in thought. "Once..." He sighed ever so delicately. "I met her at the Bramble Falls. She was very small, brown and cinnamon with a crooked up tail." He remembered the little woman with a smile. Back then he knew barely anything of attraction and had not been able to pin it. The girl was so kind, gentle and playful and her deformity was curious to him, a curled and fluffy tail arched on her back. He had stayed happily with her that day though upon returning home... "I never saw her again." That light smile fluttered away, though he figured it they were meant for be anything, friends or other wise, they would have. Her touch was something he was far used to, much as he was used to Nina's touch, and yet still the happiness he felt when they touched never dimmed. It was comforting, a comfort that was like the comforting touch of Nina though all the same far different. His deep eyes turned to her pale hue and after she finished he nodded ever slightly. He knew she was right and would not question her, though it truth he was not particularly looking for someone to fall in love with, to run away together and create a pack and have pups. Bane Aranna did not want to be a Leader. He only wanted to protect those that he loved and be happy in this. He smirks, if only at the thought of how Inali sometimes acted as though she was not so young with her whole life ahead of her as well. Bane had Nina in his life and he had Inali, why would he ever need anything more?

"Of course." He then spoke as the silence shattered at the fluttering of Inali's airy, happy voice. He lifted from the forest floor and after a shake of his dark pelt, made his way over to her side. With his tall, lean body, Inali looked even smaller. Though he knew she was swift, far more so then himself, and relished in the challenge of keeping pace with her as they both scouted and guarded the borders of their home. |
