To slowly fade away - Rayne - Dec 31, 2014 @Ace [dohtml]
RE: To slowly fade away - Ace - Jan 01, 2015 [dohtml] For all the time he has spent living in the foothills of the mountain, the Silver Male had yet to explore the inner workings of Lost Lake. It was mostly because another pack lived there and he had absolutely no intention of starting an accidental rift between the two packs, but this day he felt like going closer and finding out what lay near the lake. Padding up the not-so-steep incline through the layer of freezing and slushy snow, Ace kept his guard up and on the lookout for other wolves. If he met one of the pack wolves he'd rather know it beforehand rather than bumping into them and provoking something. It was always good to be wary about wolves in another pack as one had no idea what they were like. He smelled the rich scent of a hot spring long before he saw it, and upon reaching the crest of the incline and paused, his silver eyes scanning the area. The hot springs were surrounded by partially melted snow from the heat rising from the water, but that wasn't what caught his attention. A large russet male up to his chest in the spring did, and one that held the thick aroma of the other pack. Ace was not sure if the other male had seen him yet, and he would like to start the conversation on friendly terms, so he woofed loudly to announce his presence. Padding closer to the spring, the Silver Male stopped at the very edge, feeling the warm water soak his nearly numb front paws. The large russet male's coat was disheveled, not disheveled as in just a bit dirty, but as in he had stopped caring about his appearance. "Hello?" Ace called out to the male, his tail swishing behind him amicably and his stance neutral. They were closer to the other male's pack, and he would rather be more submissive and have a friendly interaction than leave on unfriendly terms. "My name is Ace Caravello, Second beneath Phineas from Silent Moon Plateau. Who are you?" [/dohtml] |
