The Greatest Insults - Vera - Jan 03, 2015

Let's get this onnnn @Nyna ;)
NOTE: Dated forward one day to January 4th

[dohtml]

After the harsh blowing winds sweeping the snow across the lands yesterday Vera had felt cooped up, being unable to explore. So when it cleared up the next morning she set off at a quick pace - once again, not telling Florence where she was going, she really needed to fix that habit - down south where there was new territory for her to discover. Maybe she'd even find some more herbs, or even a new face. Making friends, or at least trying to, was on her 'TO DO' list. Though she was still lacking in the social graces that was needed for creating a bond of friendship between two wolves, so it was shaky business. She was trying, and that was all that counted, right?

Pausing when she came upon a frozen creek, the Diminutive Ivory She-wolf slowly eased herself to the bank, gently pressing a paw down on the surface to test the strength of the ice. Upon finding out it didn't crack or bend beneath the slight weight she smiled, slowly and carefully placing another paw down and pushing forward with her hind legs until all four paws were on the glistening ice. Spreading her paws apart to keep her balance, Vera slid along the icy surface, slipping here and there but quickly correcting herself. So what if ice skating was a childish thing to do, she was childish at times. And plus, it was fun to do. Just not so much fun when she fell over. Giggling softly to herself, she continued to half-walk-half-run along the frozen creek, completely unaware that a wolf may be watching.

RE: The Greatest Insults - Nyna - Jan 04, 2015

She had traveled a little farther then wished but the weather had been nice so she was left to say a little travel would be safe. It didn't take the Lagina yearling long to travel before she saw something, or someone. It seemed like a smaller female was... skating on the ice? How oddly strange.

Moving a bit more forward Nyna stalked through the leftover snow and took in the deep scent. A pack. Not one she had met or smelt before. Deciding not to stalk the smaller female the blue eyed Lagina barked out lightheartedly. "Hello miss! Mind if I sit on the sidelines and watch?" Trotting over to the edge of the ice that the other, much smaller, female was skating on Nyna took a seat and examined the other. The female was littered in pale ivory color, not any other color breaking it's pureness. Her eyes were that of a deep rich brown. Although she was of shorter stature that certainly didn't mean no beauty. In fact, the ice skating female was well, rather perfect in looks.

"I don't think I introduced myself miss," Offering a full face grin the Lagina yearling adjusted herself quickly before speaking. "My name is Nyna Lagina. Though if you want you could call me Nana, Nay, and or Aya. Whatever fits your liking." It wasn't often that she gave out nicknames but this time seemed right. Perhaps there was a certain good vibe the other was giving off that made the Lagina act this way.

Terribly sorry for the wait @Nyna!

The Diminutive ivory She-wolf froze, stopping so abruptly on the slick ice that she almost fell face forward, but saved herself just in time. Snapping her head around, hackles raised, teeth pulled back in a ferocious silent snarl, her caramel brown eyes landed on a larger (obviously, everyone was larger than her) cream, grey and russet female. Yes, she did in fact mind if the intruder watched her playing on the ice like a pup. It wasn't the being on the ice acting younger than her age that bothered her, no, it was being watched that was the problem. "I do mind actually, and would prefer it if you did not watch me," she growled lowly in a scathing tone at the possibly slightly younger female. Maybe she needed to be taught to respect the privacy of others.

Swiftly making her way off the ice and onto solid ground, Vera turned her fiery eyes onto the other's pale blue, briefly thinking of them being exotic looking before reminding herself of where she was. Though she had stopped her silent snarl, the Diminutive Ivory She-wolf's hackles were still slightly raised, and she stood stiff legged before the laying female. And she was still barely taller than the other. Lowering her head to be eye to eye with the cream, grey and russet female, she looked directly into her eyes, her own filled with nothing more than an icy cold glaze. "I don't care how many different nicknames you have, I don't even want to know why you offered them to me, but your given name is more than enough for me." Vera's voice was low and possibly condescending as she spoke, her eyes narrowed. Stepping back and raising her eyes, she eyed the other female for a few moments. Her last name was the same as her leaders'. Were they related? "But do tell me this: are you familiar with a man that goes by the name, Tokino Lagina?"
