Glory of the world - Kova - Mar 17, 2015 [dohtml]
RE: Glory of the world - Minka - Mar 17, 2015 [dohtml] Minka had always been a light sleeper, but especially so since she had become a mother, the slightest sound or change in lighting was enough to wake her. When she had gone to bed that night she had been woken up just over an hour later by an odd glow coming from the entrance to the den. She always slept in the birthing den now, it just brought her comfort and somewhat settled her worries. After all this had been the place she had brought her children into the world, this is where it had all begun. Stalking out of the cramped earth the Lagina woman paused as she took in the sights of the sky, the same wonder filling her as every time she saw the lights. For the fae it never got old, the way the colours danced among themselves, a show choreographed by mother nature herself. She didn't hesitate to begin to make her way out of the territory, her pace swift with anticipation. The alpha was headed for the open ground of the field where she could have a clearer view, or the lone hill that marred the otherwise flat territory. From that advantage point she was sure to be able to see the lights more clearly than blocked by the trees of their home. Minka was so distracted by the lights that she had reached the base of Luna Hill before she stopped dead in her tracks. The leathery nose twitched furiously on the tawny face as it searched desperately for the scent it thought it had found. Suddenly the legs broke out into a sprint, fighting against the snow, mud and slush that lined the slope. Crying out she broke the silence, "Kova? Kova! Kova where are you?" Her desperation muted any caution that her body held, it didn't matter who heard or what lay in the dark, her boy had come home. RE: Glory of the world - Kova - Mar 17, 2015 [dohtml]
RE: Glory of the world - Minka - Mar 23, 2015 [dohtml] The voice calling from the night was enough to keep up her battle on the slope, her muscles not even noticing the strain put on them. Kova was calling for her, he had come home to her and now he was calling for her from the apex. Minka shoved her way against the murky ground until she too reached the crest, golden eyes scanning for the pup's form. He had grown immensely since the mother had last seen her child, looking every inch of the yearling he almost was. The silver legs had grown much longer and his paws were enlarged, but his body looked almost stretched because of his lack of body fat. For a moment Minka could do nothing but stand frozen at the top of Luna Hill, eyes staring in shock at the sight of her boy. It had been so long, there was times she had even thought that he might be dead and now here he was before her, malnourished and exhausted but very much alive. Then like the flip of a switch her body changed from completely still to a flurry of action, she needed her son by her side. As she came upon him a slow whine built in her chest before sliding out of her throat. The pink tongue lapped at any part of Kova that she could reach as she shoved her muzzle into his thick platinum fur. Tears of happiness flowed freely from her eyes as she greeted him for the first time in months, "Oh Kova my son, you have come home to me, you have come home." Rubbing her neck along his Minka could barely contain herself, she just wanted to embrace him and hold him as close as possible and never let him go again. RE: Glory of the world - Kova - Apr 08, 2015 [dohtml] Much like his mother, Kova couldn't contain the excitement that began to bubble up into his features. That gray banner of his began to wag slowly at first, but soon it was whipping back and forth so fast that Kova's tail became a blur. Meanwhile Minka had climbed up the hill and reached her son, but instead of joyously romping with him the worried mother was simply staring at his form. Kova almost felt embarased by her close scrutiny of his legs and paws. Especially of his gigantic paws. The pup covered up one fore paw with the other then rolled his developing shoulders slowly. This bit of discomfort did not last long however, as the boy stepped closer to his mother to sniff at her chest and face. She also moved forward to embrace him. Her movements were frantic as Minka brought him close to her. The warm scents of his mother brought forth many memories of puphood into the forefront of the young wolf's thoughts. His heart lurched before Kova stepped in and lay his head upon her chest. His paws tangled with hers while the boys tail began to bang against her side and legs. She whined loudly before lapping at his face, neck, ear, and body with her warm wet tongue. He gladly accepted the licks to his extremities as well as the ones aimed at his ears and neck, but the boy shied away from her licks around his face. His own tongue swept across her chin multiple times before moving towards her cheeks and chest fur. Every now and then his body would bump warmly against her side as the boy grew more and more excited. Yes he was emaciated, but the glorious moment of their reunion had brought forth plenty of energy to greet and even play with his long lost mother. Kova backed up once before throwing his front legs open across the ground. His rear wiggled up into the air as the gray pup asked for his mother to play with him. Then without waiting for her to answer, (due to his excitement) Kova rears up straight on his hind legs and playfully bats at his mothers face and shoulders. His form sways back and forth for a moment before falling onto all fours once more. Then his gentle jaws nipped at Minka's chin and neck in a show of submission and playfulness. “Speech” RE: Glory of the world - Minka - Apr 13, 2015 [dohtml] The awkward moment as Minka stared and Kova covered his paws was over as quickly as it had begun, left behind without a second thought from the mother. She didn't care what her son looked like, he could have been missing limbs for all she cared and she would still be ecstatic to see him. Feeling his warm body connect with her caused the fae's heart to stutter, this wasn't a mirage or a figment of her imagination he was here. the Lagina woman paid no mind as the platinum banner thumped her body in various places, it didn't hurt and it was just once more confirmation what was happening. Tears still streamed down her face, probably splashing onto the boy as he returned her grooming, first on her face before moving onto her chest. It was as if the last few months had never happened and her boy was still young again as he sunk down into a playful bow. As she had done time and time again for both her children Minka didn't even have to make conscious decision the move, just mirrored his position with an encouraging bark. She only had to hold it for a second though before Kova was back on his paws and batting at her and nips were placed upon her chin. Growling lightly in contentment she nipped back at the top of his muzzle before dancing to the side. the woman was a lithe specimen and had always been agile, a physical trait that boasted well for both hunting and for playing as it turned out. Darting forward the mother aimed to place a gentle head butt on his son's side just behind his shoulder blades. They had wrestled like this more times than she could count when he was younger, and it was a dance Minka would gladly partake in for as long as she would let him. |
