the strongest among you may not wear a crown - Gent - Mar 25, 2015 [dohtml] Set after the pack meeting concerning tensions with SW. RE: the strongest among you may not wear a crown - Loki - Apr 21, 2015 @Gent - Thanks for allowing me to wait ^^ Should be able to knock this thread out fairly fast. [dohtml] The young boy who was scarcely a man despite his age saying he was ready 'to adult' was plotting his next move carefully. He did not have the knowledge in fighting in order to successfully fight his way to the top and he did not have the support to create a pack. What was Gabriel to do with this lust for power? He was not entirely sure. He would just try and keep his head down for now. A call rose for him, one whose voice he had never heard before. His ears would perk up as his eyes narrowed in their own vile way. The brooding teen would push forth to investigate who it was calling him out by name. They were on the cusp of war and now someone was calling for him. It couldn't be a good sign. Upon arrival, he found Gent whom he had seen at the meeting. This man was below him but his posture said otherwise. This man was out for his rank. "Gent." The words were filled with an icy chill that meant business to someone. Giving up and backing down would be too suspicious for Loki to do, so he would play out this other man's fantasy, giving in the fight after the first round of fighting or two. They would see how it was to play out. He drew a deep breath as he focused on the other man. "You're going to have to fight for it." His words were now a fierce snarl as his hackles rose and teeth barred. His tail raised above his back, curling even as he set out his best aggressive posture. Without another word he would rush towards the man, using what speed he hoped he had over his opponent to knock into him, attempting to bite and grab onto his shoulder to hold him to the ground in the process. RE: the strongest among you may not wear a crown - Gent - Apr 24, 2015 [dohtml] Such gall for someone so young, though Gent could only imagine that what stood before him was a window to himself at that age, had he stayed with Hollow Heart Keep long enough to challenge and be challenged. A smirk flitted across his maw, before being replaced with a reflection of Gabriel's aggression. He had no qualms about forcing the boy into the bottom rank where he, in Gent's eyes, belonged. To meet what was clearly coming, the Lieris heir broadened his stance, planting himself firmly in the rich soil while tucking his chin to protect his throat, a natural reaction. His jaws parted, something of a hiss snaking out from his throat as he braced to retaliate against whatever his pack mate threw at him. RE: the strongest among you may not wear a crown - Loki - May 29, 2015 [dohtml] The brute was somewhat of a challenge, Loki could not lie. He was determined and his passion was equal to his task. His mind was in a flurry as the man charged him, trying to put him on the ground. He hissed as the other brute, trying to think up a strategy on the fly as he darted around the challenge. He moved to get out of the way but was unsuccessful as Gent already had a sturdy grip on his scruff. He fought back, lashing violently from side to side with all of his strength to try and avoid further strength pushed onto him but alas the man forced him to the ground. Gabriel's muzzle was drawn up in a vicious snarl as he looked the other man in the eye. Words were not needed as he scorned the man in silence. He was lucky that Gabriel had only just taken to relearning all of the proper attack and defense mechanics that he had learned per his father's request nearly a year prior. This man would not remain above him for long - even if it meant that Loki had to challenge his way to the top of the hierarchy. "I won't stay down here for long, but I will for now." His words were hissed with a certain venom that he hadn't used in a long time. Loki Harbinger did not appreciate being bested in his own game. This truly prodded at his ego as he looked at the man who had just taken his rank. RE: the strongest among you may not wear a crown - Gent - Jun 01, 2015 [dohtml]
OOC: Slight PP, let me know if you want it changed, just trying to make the thread longer so we can get 10 posts and claim lp c: feel free to have Loki break free at any time and/or strike at Gent. Gent's opponent was not handling the match with very much grace at all. A tinge of concern ebbed its way inside of him as he considered what this could mean for him further ahead as he worked his way to the top of the ladder. This was not to be mistaken with fear, however; the man was quite confident he could take whatever the young adult tried to throw his way. What was bothersome was that he knew deep down that he would not be able to trust the snake of a wolf that glared up at him from the dirt, and that left Gabriel no room in the pack once it became Gent's; not unless he was willing to fix his attitude. Gent released his opponent as he sensed the fight was over, taking a step back and readying himself to leave the boy be. It had been an extremely quick challenge, and he didn't feel like making their encounter last any longer than it absolutely had to. Unfortunately, Gabriel's sharp-fanged jaws parted to let leak what Gent could only take as an acidic threat. An enraged snarl tore through the air as Gent lunged for the boy, once more closing his teeth down on Gabriel's scruff and this time pressing him completely into the ground until his throat touched the dirt. It didn't matter what rank Gent himself was, this boy was now below him and would be taught that disrespecting him held a price. RE: the strongest among you may not wear a crown - Loki - Jun 10, 2015 Loki was a stubborn beast, but that should not have been a surprise to anyone. He tried his best to put up a good façade but in the end, he was evil and he was vain. He was everything that classified a deadly sin and nothing at all. Gent would force him into submission and the anger would fade from his eyes as the adrenaline wore off. He kept his mouth shut; playing is smart now as he submitted himself as well. One thing was for sure, he would not be staying here for long. Of course, he was not intending to tell Gent this. He would tell Minka and that was the only wolf he would tell. Well, Minka and her mate, the leaders of the pack. It was not just this incident that led this choice in Loki, but the general lack of want to help others. Perhaps he was destined to be a loner by heart? I did not matter; the man would release him and the snake would rise, heading off in a direction towards the borders. It was time to scout out faraway lands. Perhaps he might never return. Perhaps he could stage an accident? No, staging an accident was for the weak. That was something that one of his brothers would have done but he was not one of his brothers, that much was certain. He drew a deep breath as he tried to calm himself down. He had another name to add to the list of wolves he hated: Gent. -Loki Exit- |
