{M} this thing is gonna kill you. - Silver - Apr 14, 2015

WARNING: Gore and Violence! Read at your own risk!
"He brought me out into the hall I could have sworn it was haunted,
and told me something that I didn't know that I wanted
to hear: That there was nothing that I could do to save you,
the choirs gonna sing, and this thing is gonna kill you."

Dark paws had drawn out into the evening air in hopes of finding something, someone. Hopes of finding a clue that the Oak Tree Bend wolves could stay safe tonight. She had no doubt that their guards were already doing an excellent job but she needed to know for herself. Perhaps that's why the crow woman had pulled herself away from her love, Drestig's, side to do a quick scout out. Her promises of returning within two hours at the least where the only thing to keep him calm. Of course she knew she would have to stick to her word now. With time slowly ticking it was likely that reaching the base of the Sierra Hills would be the only possible feat tonight.

A damp nose sniffed around the base of the hills. She could confirm something or someone was here. Was it the kidnappers of Nayeli though? Their names...@Garmr, Skadi, Vali along with the mention of a younger one who had no name. Not wanting to cause too much trouble, in the case of it not being the attackers she slowly turned her back. Trailing across the base of the red hued hills before slowly approaching her well known Spectral Woods. The quicker her dark form could be next to Drestig within the den the better. Besides, it would be getting dark soon which well enough meant she might run into trouble. The last thing she wanted was getting into trouble with any of the Bend wolves or any other creatures lurking around.

@Ainashi too if you have time

Plan of attack map

[dohtml]

Myopic rage burned through Garmr, his plans swiftly dissolving in time with the melting ice and snow. The breeding season had come and gone, and still no new heirs of Fenrir had been bred. They were a dying breed. Never had he been so close, yet so far. Now, more than ever, he needed to appease his patron god. Ending the life of one of these wretched dogs would do nicely. And even more than that, the monster in him craved revenge. If nothing else he would make this sorry pack pay for what they had taken from him.

Like ghosts Garmr and his band haunted this corner of the vale, drifting through silently, always watching. Garmr sourly noted that the sheep-like wolves seemed to have some semblance of wit, they stayed huddled close inside their borders. There was some pride that Garmr and his band, the true wolves, were keeping these mutts cowed down. Reckless, yet patient, he knew his plan and was sticking to it.

It seemed his patience finally paid off when they heard a wolf moving through the woods, headed towards the hills. A drab, dark female of obviously low breeding. He let her go, she would be back. Knowing now the route she would likely return, he had positioned himself in a thick copse of oak saplings a short ways from the trail, sheltered by shrubbery. Skadi had been ordered to stand opposing, and if Ainashi was to make himself of any use he would stay out front to block the female's path if she tried to make an escape.

Predictably, she returned. There was nothing about these vermin that wasn't predictable.  The damp black surface of his nose twitched, catching the woman's scent. He knew it well enough by now, the sign of the oaken pack. His stomach twisted in possessive knots as he noted another scent along with the female's: Nayeli.

That sealed it. This woman would die. A deep breath to steady the excitement, the shaking of pure rage down his limbs, the electricity that ran down his spine. His lips moved in a silent prayer for his god to help guide his fangs and banish this filth from the earth. His silver eyes slid towards Skadi's hiding place, before returning his vile, hungry glare to the unwitting wolf. With a bark as a signal he erupted from his shelter, pale limbs flying as he lunged out, dashing up to Silver's side to grab hold anywhere he sink his teeth.

RE: {M} this thing is gonna kill you. - Skadi - Apr 14, 2015

attacking from opposide as Garmr, Skadi is attacking her head, trying to smother Silver basically

The sun was finally sinking.

Yellow eyes flicked as shadows drew long and then receded with the light, taking the warmth along with it. Welcomed by most, it was despised by Skadi. She missed her wide, clear mountain; this forest was a far opposite. It stunk after a day of mild spring weather. The ground smelled of living things, detestable living things, and the oaks oozed an odor in the heat that made her want to retch. She held still, trying very hard to avoid the saplings she'd maimed weeks ago now. They leaked a fluid as pungent and malodorous as these heathens. Skadi did not want to smell like them. They were an embarrassment to wolf-kin. The warmth left her back and Skadi looked to Garmr. Soon, they would correct the world of this particular mistake.

A slow gleam of silver caught her attention. She followed it and watched the hapless woman, legs like a rattlesnake under her. She was a pawn, a puppet waiting for her master to pick up the strings and send her deeper into hell. At least it was for a good cause.

And there it was. A bark with a pitch she recognized and anger she well remembered. Her tail flailed wildly as Skadi streaked from her place. Garmr struck from one side and she launched to the other. Just like deer, Garmr had said earlier. She took the words to heart, even more so. Silence was of the utmost. It wouldn't do to have the whole lot of degenerates stumbling to the rescue. Skadi snapped at her muzzle, legs scrambling under as she sought to trap the breath and plea for help in Silver's mouth.

Ai mowed moved slowly through the land he was making his way to the possession Garmr had given him. He knew that today the blood of a wolf would color the waking ground read and soon the forest would be field whit painful howls of sorrow over a lost family member. And after the painful howl the howls of hate and war would start and Ragnarök would soon begin. And more blood would color the ground until even the snow falling from the sky would turn read an the herders of the sun and moon would finish there hunt and join there father on the ground for a chaos. Hi sighed as he looked at the sky, the giant ball of light was hanging low and it would not be longer before Hati would chase the moon out of hiding as Skoll would chase the sun down beyond the horizon. He had stopped walking as he had watch the sky and soon once more toke up his task as he made it to his place in this sinful plan.

Ai was watch as the female mowed back towards the woods he made his last mowed an placed himself hidden behind her so that if she should try running back towards the hills he would be able to block her way. This was the beginning of the end for either the pack or the small family. Ai just hoped that after this ended he would be able to return to the black king after words. As he longed to be by his side to be need as more then just a broken tool who was laying on the egged of binge tossed away. He sighed as he could fell his mussel binge sore from the ‘reunion’ whit his family. Garmr had not been happy whit his actions and had it not been for his plans, Ai feared that he would not have gotten out of it whit all limbs in one peace. He watch as the female walk closer and closer to her death and then a bark was the key to unlocking the doors to hell. Not that he wasn’t already there but this would only drag him further in to the flames an darkness.

Ai walk free from his hiding his silver fur standing strong against the forest surroundings, making him weary visible. He allowed his body to fall in to a stance that he had seen the black king use, razing his tail making his ears stand straight and dragging back his dark lips showing his canines. His abnormal long fur rose making his slim shapes apere lager and less slim. Not that his already slim shapes was a illusion creating by his abnormal long and thick fur, far from. He was far from slim he was thin from living his entire life as Omega, surviving on the scraps of meat left on the bones of the family scathes if there was any left. Growling Ai made his hit, aiming to bit down on her left hip/leg as he hoped it would give them an advantage if she should find the slim chance of escaping.

Hope this okay you guys...@Garmr @Skadi @Ainashi
[dohtml]

The scene had changed quickly. Someone barking had the dark woman's head snapping towards the direction. Who was this? Before she could properly react it seemed the wolf was close enough to snip her shoulder. Nothing too bad but enough to send her in the other direction. Yet there was another wolf. This one was darker than the one who just nipped here. Shock reached her again when the dark woman's teeth met the side of her face. Her skin was certainly pierced this time. Blood had been drawn. This was no good for anyone.

In a bit of a scattered haze her legs scattered forward. Rushing the most she could. It would be dangerous to go home as that would mean bringing danger home. She had to find another way. Lead these wolves on a wild goose chase. There was a third wolf though. Something rushed up from behind her giving a good nip to her left leg (think this is what Ainashi was trying to do?). A loud yelp could be heard from coming from Silver's mouth. What did these wolves want? Turning away from the bend she ran. Trying her best to lead trouble away from the borders. Of course if it meant her running to her death she would do it. Just to insure the safety of Drestig and any other Bend wolves.

It was obvious she wasn't as fast as she once was or as limber as before. Age was getting her. Either it was her age or she simply wasn't as able as previously.

@Skadi You're up!

[dohtml]

The silver brute surged forward, jaws parted and white fangs bared in a wretched grimace. His target had noticed him, veering away at the last moment and causing his teeth to clack together on more air than skin. Tugging on his insubstantial grasp of her hide, he was rewarded with a few scant tufts of black fur. He spat, pink tongue shoving the disgusting mutt's hair from his mouth. This wretched woman had the gall to defy him, humiliate him even, and she would pay the price. Skadi had better luck in her aim for the pack wolf's face, and the worthless cub had managed to get in a bite on her hock. A shrill noise emerged from their prey, sending a deadly excitement through him.

Garmr had lost his momentum from his missed attack, but pressed his long hind legs firmly into the earth to pick up speed. He was surprised to see their prey quickly turn, abandoning the protection her pack's land would provide and heading back for the hills. He couldn't help but think how idiotic she was, running away from the only chance of survival she had with her pack. Animals so stupid didn't deserve to walk this earth, and he would make sure to cut this foolish woman's life short.

Garmr's focus honed in on her as he chased after, utterly silent, all for his frantic footfalls and panting. He knew Skadi would know how to handle herself, and could only hope the whelp would make himself useful or otherwise keep out of his way. Garmr had caught up with Silver, keeping pace just at her heels. He needed to slow her down. Muscles coiled and stretched under his pallid coat as he leaped forward, aiming to grab onto her hind ankle with enough force to knock her off balance.

RE: {M} this thing is gonna kill you. - Skadi - May 12, 2015

Blood streamed sideways as Skadi raced after the Bend wolf. She could hear the solid strike of Garmr's footfalls and the lithe sprint of their child. Drab yellow eyes rolled to watch Ainashi. Each step the boy took was one that redeemed him; he at least had come. Vali was nowhere in sight, a good thing considering Skadi believed him to be relieving himself with a heathen. Disgusting. The blood pounded thick and hot in her veins. They had taken her brother and sullied everyone's future. Maybe it wasn't their fault for the way they were, but Skadi was going to make damn sure to put a stop to it. They were a mistake that couldn't continue.

The heathen turned away from her oak forest and blood-stained lips smiled at their good fortune. None of her family knew the forest well (Skadi herself found the place repulsive). Lucky for them this woman didn't realize how that unfamiliarity would have given her a chance to escape. Stupid woman, to run towards her own death. Even if she screamed for her family, Silver would be dead long before they could reach her. It was time to end this, the world was suffering as Silver breathed.

Skadi plunged forward, sacrificing control of her pace for speed. It was risky, everything hinged on having level ground and her feet falling at just the right place. Skadi's feet gathered under her and she part leapt-part careened into Silver. Her shoulder hit Silver's flank with enough force to leave a bruise, she felt herself stumble off-balanced and her jaws snapped at any movement in defense.

@Skadi PP of Silver with Becca's permission

[dohtml]

Garmr's paws skid a few meters over the ground as he fought into his hold on the doomed woman's ankle, his long legs finally anchoring him into the soil and dragging them both to a near stop. A firm kick by the female shook his grasp free, as he winced to protect his eyes from flying hind claws, his lips curled to reveal a vicious sneer of sharp teeth. Silver had barely gotten started running again before Skadi came barreling into her, sending her careening to her side. He felt a wash of pride, these lesser beasts were so easily overpowered by the superior kind.

Garmr launched forward, anticipating where Silver would land and quickly struck for her legs again. He grabbed onto haunch at first, teeth cutting in deeply and tainted blood flooding his maw. He threw his weight into it, using his powerful neck muscles to keep her down and bracing his paws onto her abdomen. He just needed to keep her there long enough for Skadi to join in. Once downed, no prey lasted for long thereafter, and this wolf was no exception.

RE: {M} this thing is gonna kill you. - Skadi - Jun 30, 2015

So, dunno why, but Skadi decided a mild concussion was the perfect effect here, feel free to have her act dazed and confused in the next thread, I'm sure @Garmr will be just thrilled with her lol
-----------
She shook her head and the world cleared in time for Skadi to see Garmr latch onto the woman. Her head rang, likely with a mild concussion, but certainly anyone could tell it was the very earth begging for this to be ended. Every step brought her closer to Silver and the sound grew louder, pressing down on her bruised skull. Perhaps this is what her brother sometimes spoke of, the sensation that guided their noble purpose. They must be very close to appeasing Fenrir for her to finally feel it. But, they were not done yet, Silver still lived. A mistake that asked to be corrected. Skadi would not disappoint. Never. Every warped wish was her command.

The woman threw herself at the downed Silver and the ringing turned to a roar inside her head. Yes, this is what needed to happen. She ripped into flesh, dazed to the point of not being able to tell what part was being maimed. The ground went wet and the air grew heavy. Finally the headache receded enough and Skadi pulled out of her fog to look down.

They had done it. Silver was dead and everything would be better for it. The world would become like a haven for it's saviors now, Skadi was sure of it. It was all she'd ever been told and could believe nothing else.
