if my velocity starts to make you sweat - Valeria - Jun 11, 2015 @Silentium [dohtml] The young Slayer child had not been within the Timbers for more than a week, but she had already started to love the place she was to call home. The pale woman would be following hunting trails, as that was what she was good at. Several scents had caught her attention as she reminded herself that she needed to help with the caches since Iopah had informed her that there were three mothers caring for their young. That was three mothers out of commission until their pups grew older and were able to be left alone for more time than a short break. Her eyes focused as her nose carried her down the path that was marked with the fresh scent of woodchuck. The fantastic thing about the falls, food was always there. There were fish, aquatic prey, prey that lived in the woods. They all needed hydration, which meant that the falls were popular. She would swiftly move across the land as she observed different aspects of the land she had not noticed in her original ventures to scout out the place she was to call home. She would rush forward and effectively tackle the fierce creature, quickly killing it as she knew of how it could defend itself. Her eyes filled with a slight satisfaction as she picked up the lifeless creature and headed back towards the main den, where she had been resting since Iopah had accepted her. She had yet to meet any of the other wolves in the pack, but she was looking forward to it. Often times she wondered what this pack would be like but it seemed peaceful and nice and that was all that she could ask for. Another thing, she wondered what the people were like. Iopah was nice, but she was not sure about the rest of the wolves. Only time would tell how things worked out here. [/dohtml] RE: if my velocity starts to make you sweat - Silentium - Jul 04, 2015 Let me know if this pp isn't okay! [dohtml] Silentium had ducked inside the main den to check for @Iopah or possibly her children but had found it empty. The girls were growing quickly and while he had never actually interacted with them he had grown protective of their wellbeing. He often times found himself following their scent trails until he could get sights that they were okay before leaving. The yearling very much so doubted that they ever noticed him, he was like a large shadow that watched their play from afar. In fact the Hervok barely interacted with any of his pack mates besides Iopah or Koda, it made him uncomfortable to even think about speaking with them. His speech had improved incredibly since his childhood but certain syllables still sounded overly round and drawn out, so like his name suggested he stayed silent. His search turning out empty handed the golden body turned in spot and made to duck back out into the sunlight. As he exited though he was met face to face with a white muzzle, barely avoiding actually colliding with the girl Si felt his cheeks grow hot. Side stepping clumsily out of the sloped den he dropped his gaze to his own paws. Barely able to raise his voice above a mumble he offered, "Sorry." The yearling wanted to bolt from the area, he had never even seen this woman before though the scent she carried reassured him she belonged there and now he had almost knocked her over. A frown dominated the blonde muzzle as he continued to stare hard at his feet waiting for her to finish her descent into the den so he could escape this humiliation. RE: if my velocity starts to make you sweat - Valeria - Aug 20, 2015 @Silentium - Sorry this took so long. Real life had me occupied.
