ELecTriFY!! - Rickalaru - Apr 18, 2011

Rickalaru'd been hiding and keeping quiet for some time now after the stuff she'd gone through upon meeting her first wolf from this land. But now she had the itch. She'd been separated from other wolves for too long, and though she was perhaps not the most social wolf thanks to her past, EVER wolf had to interact as some point. With any kind of luck she'd run into some nicer company this time around though. Her last interaction, she'd all but lost control and gone into melt down.

There was most certainly an energy here, there was no doubting that. But Rickalaru might have perhaps reacted to that energy a little differently. It's mixed up with the already bend up emotions and feelings that she'd been carrying with her upon reaching this place. All the nasty stuff she'd brought out finally get rid of. It seemed that that part of the plan was finally underway. The energy traveled up her paws, up her legs, and into her heart. There is spread to her very soul, where it mixed in with the stuff in there and turned chaotic. The good kind of chaos.

It was the kind that got stuff DONE! From there the newly formed chaotic energy went to her brain where it mixed it with the smallest pinch of rage, before finally returning to the muscles in her legs. This caused them to tingle and burn with energy, which could only be cured by running. She'd been running like a bat out of hell for a fair deal of time now, at one point even leaving out of the grove before quickly returning to it. Not taking in one direction in particular, but rather turning and ducking and weaving in and out of the tress as she went.

After carrying on like this for a time more, she came to a sliding stop quite suddenly before rising her maw to the sky and howling out a bright, musical and energetic note. For once, for the first time in a long time, Rickalaru felt good.

ELecTriFY!! - Marsh - Apr 18, 2011

She wasn't about to find herself with the most graceful of companies, but at least Marsh was not completely socially incompetent. Not completely. At the very least, he did not need to make wild, inaccurate assumptions about those he met, and he had already discerned a certain thing or two before making his presence known to this girl.

It was only thanks to his coincidental crossing of her trail that allowed him to fill his nose with her so soon. Sacred Grove was often criss-crossed by loners and packmates alike, and Marsh was not unused to coming across strange scents that he never encountered before. He had been just as prepared to ignore this instance, for they were still a short distance from Swift River lands and there was little need for paranoia. Had Corinna's litter made an appearance, that would have been a very different story, but every member of the pack was able-bodied and not exactly in need of babysitting.

Then the nomad had sung, and Marsh let the circumstance draw him in.

Nose to the ground, he followed the trail she had left behind, noting how quickly she had danced over the land and between the trees. She was young, energetic and healthy, it seemed, and though she held traces of a familiar scent - was that useless excuse for a wolf everywhere?! - it bore no relation to her. She was an outsider, alone both in life and at this very moment. But she had sung, and like the good little Second he was, Marsh was not going to ignore such a call.

Thus he emerged from somewhere behind her, taking care not to make his approach hidden or quiet, so that she would quickly hear and locate him. Eyes alight with curiosity and tail someplace between neutral and held high, he stepped forwards a few paces. So, what had she wanted?
