OVERkill. - Kieph - Apr 19, 2011

[dohtml]
Preferred for anyone in GH. :D
Kieph had been fairing well despite the despicable loner status that he attained from leaving his previous pack. Alas, his coat had lost some of it's glossy sheen from the constant travel and his extremities were beginning to show some wear and tear, but overall he deemed worth it. The scents were getting closer and stronger with every passing day and he knew that he had to be close. And if he was that close, he knew he had to be that much closer to his destiny. He wasn't crazy, as many would expect from his dogged determination. He was just very self-assured and knew exactly what he wanted. And anyways, he always got what he wanted, he just had to work a little harder for this one.

Stopping briefly, he lowered his muzzle towards a soft stream that broke through the unclaimed forest that he trekked through. He drank slowly, leisurely. He paused on his way up from the water, watching his reflection intently. He was a bit scruffy, but as he turned from one cheek to the other, he slid a natural grin into it's place. He could pass off as that rugged handsome type. He smelled the obvious pack scent that wove intricately close to the unclaimed lands, and knew it was just a matter of time before he ran into anyone in particular. Until then, he would have to clean himself up a little bit and look the part. It was as if he was stretched out, waiting as if akimbo, until some unsuspecting person would come to pick him up.

OVERkill. - Vlarindara - Apr 19, 2011

[dohtml]

OOC: Oh this should be interesting! XD

Vlarindara moved quietly through the forests of their home, her plumed tail curling lightly over her back as she first nosed around their scent marker and then rubbed against it, adding her own unique scent to the borders. This continued a time, all the while, her ears pointed and swiveling like satellite dishes, listening for something out of place. Once she got closer to the river, the white female trotted a few meters outside their home to sate her thirst of the cool waters. Lifting her head, amber eyes cast this way and that before they alighted on a form sprawled out near the river. Interesting. The stranger was odd to her in both sight and smell as she approached him, remaining a few paces away before she called a greeting. "Hello there!"

The white second shifted, her tail having dropped form its lofty height to rest gracefully between her legs..they were in no ones land and she had no right to be dominant to a stranger. At least until he crossed their borders. Inquisitively, the female lifted her head and scented the wafting air that carried the males scent to her, trying to pick out where he'd been...where he'd come from. He was a bit taller than her if his size while lying down was any indication.. it might pose a problem should he choose to push past their borders. "Might I be able to help you?" She held her tone in a graceful, cordial tone...oddly gentle despite her size.
