Naira Tainn
If anyone wants to post an exit feel free, otherwise I'll archive this next week.

She considered the names he offered with a smile. "I do like Treyah." It rolled off the tongue so nicely. When it came to boys names she smiled again, considering the two. The thought of bellowing Treyah and Trillian Tainn! across the misted forest left her tongue in knots and she couldn't contain her own amused snort at the thought. "Reiko, I think I like Reiko more." She answered him with a chuckle.

That settled there was little more to do now than lower her head down to rest. The audience would eventually dissapate, spreading word of the latest additions to the Bend among those who didn't make it. For now though, she would spare herself the effort. She knew full well that she would need all the energy she had in the coming days. Children seemed to always come with boundless energy.

Aponi Donata

A single silver brow raised towards the large yearling as the girl seemed instantly guilty and looked up towards him apologetically. This wasn't at all the Sahalie that she knew, the one who had stood up for herself so fiercely that night with Spieden. Aponi could only hope that she wasn't getting herself so mixed up with boys that she would forget who she was and what she stood for, even if in this case it was hating Naira. The mother herself had been down that road and it was nothing but trouble and heartbreak and months of hurting before getting yourself back.

Nodding absentmindedly to Sahalie's comment about Triell's nostalgia she offered, "I'm sure Naira will just agree with him then, she doesn't place too much value on family or things of the past."  That night she had limped back into the territory flashed through her mind but the Aquila shoved it aside. Her mother had always been able to paint a pretty picture when she wanted to, but behind it all was always something dark just waiting for them. Like the family she had painted them when they were young, but the true volatile father that had been left out. Naira's words couldn't be trusted.

Suddenly annoyed that she had even thought to stop by the den Aponi stood and shook off her pelt. Offering but a single flicked ear as a farewell towards the yearlings and a nod to Serach she took her leave. This wasn't her place, it never had been and it never would be. Maybe in Naira's stories to her cubs she would be included as the great older sister who stood guard and waited for them, but it would only be a half truth like every other word out of her lying maw.

Sahalie Leigh
just squeaking in an exit here
While it had been sort of fun, at first, to exchange bitter commentary with the older woman, the force of Aponi's vitriol suddenly shook Sahalie out of her teenage angst. Knowing so little about that woman, Sahalie was suddenly interested to hear Kyna's mother talk about Naira in a sort of personal way, the same way Sahalie had talked about her own father just moments ago. She shot a look towards Alastor, wondering if he thought anything funny about it. But before the girl could ask about the origin of the statement Aponi was already dusting herself off and saying her goodbyes, leaving the yearlings to blink in confusion.

With her father and the woman busy in the den, the girl was more or less left on her own to decipher Aponi's cryptic words. It was strange that the woman could more or less confirm what Sahalie had always suspected: that Naira didn't really care for anyone besides herself. Though Naira had spoken up to talk about Corinna during the meeting, saying things that were at odds with the claim that she didn't "place too much value on things of the past." What would Aponi know about Naira's connection to her family? Sahalie wondered for a moment if the two were related, but Aponi was silver, modest, and shapely where Naira was all browns in a massive, hulking form. Maybe it was possible, but there was just not enough information to go off of.

Sighing, the girl resolved to figure it all out later. "Congratulations, dad," she called out once before leaving, brushing her nose against Alastor's neck in an attempt to drag him away to chat about this strange conversation.
