Lorcán Artemieva
At the mention of poisonous plants, Lorcan’s brows raised. He hadn’t even considered the dangers of them, especially to puppies – and to make things worse, he knew hardly anything about them. His mother had never spoke much of poisons, but now that Sylva had mentioned them, he decided at that moment that he would have to learn as much about them as he could, along with the medicinal plants. “I’ve never thought of that… I’m sure you’ll make a great healer one day.” He assured her, his tail swaying in admiration.

However, it seemed that Sylva still had things to learn, as her answer to his question only left him disappointed and more curious. He noticed the scowl pulling at her features and, feeling a bit guilty, Lorcan stepped forwards. “Well you know it helps, that’s the main thing really. I shall have to remember it.” A moment of silence passed as the female stood, seemingly lost to the world. Lorcan’s russet ears flickered in embarrassment as he realised his question had gone ignored. “Uh..” His murmur seemed to snap her from her thoughts and she immediately turned to him and offered the exact same suggestion. Lorcan grinned, his golden eyes glancing to one side in bemusement. “That would be very helpful of you, thank you” He nodded, and waited for Sylva to lead the way.

Sylva Riverflow
The girl’s ebony muzzle bobbed quickly in excitement, a small grin tugging on the corners of her lips as Lorcan agreed to hunting some of the herbs for his own pack, this brought things one step closer to the yearling’s larger goal in life. Sylva had conceived the odd notion to try and open communications between the healers of the local packs in order to benefit everyone, if they could trade herbs regularly or even exchange knowledge then that alone would be worth what ever work it took to be established. It would work, that She’d make sure of.

“Well, just like with any herb, you have to be careful not to damage the roots so more can grow back after you’ve harvested it, and over harvesting needs to be avoided. Otherwise you have too much and if it’s not cycled or rotated, then you could lose a large amount of herbs to wilting or dying before more can grow to replace it.” @Gent’s lessons, along with her own observations came to mind fairly quickly as she sniffed the air, searching for the Pineapple Weed’s scent as she followed along the river’s edge, her tail flicking toward Lorcan, inviting him to follow.
