Marisol
RE: Spinning ice discs are forming within bodies of water throughout the Lore.
If Marisol's memory served her correctly then she had already been in these parts. Her surroundings didn't look overly familiar as everything around here was white, but she certainly remembered the lagoon and that woman she had met by it's shore. She-Morganna was it (?)- had been rather fixated on a fish that dwelled within it's depths. Not because she wanted to eat it, rather it seemed to scare her a little, as though she worried it would swallow her whole.

An amusing thought really, but that moment stuck with Mari, and she couldn't help but think of it as she looked over the water.

Something moving caught her attention. She frowned as she inched closer to the shore, her eyes narrowed into a squint as she took in the sight of the spinning ice disk. She didn't dare stand too close to the edge, lest she stepped on thin ice and fell in. She was many thing, but she certainly wasn't an idiot. Mari had the cold more than enough already, the thought of falling into freezing water would be the end of her, no doubt about it.

Still, what the hell was happening here? She wasn't very familiar with ice, considering where she was from, but she was pretty sure it wasn't supposed to spin like this. Whatever, it wasn't like she even cared. She'd come here because...it was familiar, she guessed. And because she had nowhere better to be, funny how those two things went hand in hand.

Daighre
Warning for some language. Daighre's got a potty mouth~
Two weeks.

Two whole weeks and some hours (not that he was counting, or anything) since his own mother—his own goddamn parent—disowned him and chased him out of pack territory with nothing more than a vague threat that he wasn’t allowed back until he matured. What did that even mean? Who did she think she was? And he knew that his mom was many things. She was a living terror hellbent on destroying his life at every chance she got that he tolerated at best. But not once—not once—did he ever think the old hag had it in her to do something about his behaviour. That was his dad’s job, not hers.

And speaking of the old man—

Where was he when Daighre needed him the most!? Was he in on the plan? He wouldn’t put it past his old man to resort to shitty half-baked schemes and underhanded tactics, especially when his mom was involved. And he thought his dad was the honest one…

Pfft.

His scowl deepened and he stomped forward with a vengeance. He was pretty sure his mom didn’t mean anything she said. She would blow up and make a fuss about something that didn’t matter, and that’s when his dad would step in and tell her she was acting crazy or something. He would use different words because god forbid the poor sap was anything less than smitten and polite, but the general idea still stood. He and his mom would fight. Pops would come in and smooth everything over. It was as easy as that.

Now the only hard part would be waiting until his mom came around while his dad convinced her to drop the issue. Maybe he already convinced her. And if that was the case—he probably should have chosen to wait somewhere closer to home rather than running off into the woods for two weeks straight. Heading back home was going to suck. With a ragged exhale Daighre forced himself to come to a halt. The scent of water was cold and damp in his nose and it might have been tinged with the stench of a stranger, but he didn’t care.

If they were going to fight him over a goddamn lake he would kick their ass. He was tired and thirsty and pissed. And while the latter wasn’t anything new—the former of being tired and thirsty so far outside of his parent’s territory was. So, without so much as a glance spared to the she-wolf staring at the spinning ice like it was something special, Daighre brushed past her to get himself a much needed drink, thank you very much.

Marisol
Marisol was alone...then she wasn't. She could hardly refer to the stranger as company, as they were anything but a companion, the sort of wolf she'd want by her side. She scowled as he barged past, practically claiming the lagoon as his own, which of course infuriated Mari to no end. Who the fuck did he think he was? Swaggering along as though he meant something, as though he was cut from a different cloth than other, regular, loners?

It was in the way he walked, the way he held his shoulders firm and his tail stiff. Like he thought he was the shit.

Mari's lips twitched, revealing a flash of white as the hackles down the line of her back stood on end. Did he think she'd just take it like a champ, let him push her about? Bullshit, he had another thing coming. Pretentious piece of shit.

"Oi, pequena mierda!" She all but snarled, her tone as ugly and venomous as her words. "Look how much shore there is, why you gotta be up in my space, huh?"

The ice was forgotten. Or at least it was until she was half tempted to shove the mutt into the icy cold lagoon. That'd serve him right, might even make him remember his manners. Marisol wasn't a stickler for her, much to her Mumma's dismay, but she liked to think she wasn't as rude as this, that she knew when to hold her tongue and when to let it all loose.

He was blonde with bright orange eyes, bit of a pretty boy, the sort that made Mari wanna spit.

Daighre
The hag found her voice. Nothing but unintelligible garbage came spewing out from her parted lips, but Daighre didn’t expect much from her in the first place. Because if she wanted to start a fight he would let her. It wouldn’t be his blood spilling across the snow and ground. But even knowing that didn’t make her attitude any less annoying. Did she think she was hot shit? That some yapping and barking coming from the mouth of a worthless short stack would have him apologizing and seeing the error of his ways?

An ugly snort left his nostrils and he pulled back from the water’s edge with deliberate slowness. His tail gave an irritated twitch and his shoulders were tight with annoyance, but he remained where he stood. Let her make the first move. And with a smile that was more of a sneer than anything else—

“You don’t own the place.” She was a loner. Some worthless nobody that would die alone with nothing to show for it but a shrivelled husk of a body. But not him. He had subordinates waiting for him back home that were no doubt about to fall apart without his leadership. Screw whatever his parents said. He did most of the work. It might as well have already been his pack.

Mari is filthy
Mari couldn't say she was surprised when he got all pissy. But yeah, he was right, she didn't own shit but it wasn't a big deal. If she wanted a plot of land of her own she would have taken it by now, as easy as that. This guy must have had a real long and thorny stick up his ass though, the way he was talking it was apparent that he was the one who thought he was hot shit. How quaint.

Perhaps it was a bit hypocritical of her, snark queen that she was, to get annoyed at his lack of manners but it wasn't as if she went out of her way to be a brat. Then again, the same might apply to this shit. Knowing youngsters these days it probably came real natural to him, as easy as breathing. More than a knee jerk reaction , it was sewn into his very being

"Duh." She rolled her eyes, hard. "But neither do you, cabron. So how about you pull that stick outta yer ass and move on before I push your dusty lookin' ass into the water, huh?"

He was taller, broader than her but that had never stopped Mari before. She might not have had size on her side, but she certainly had experience and spunk. When Mari fought, she did it dirty, in fact, she was half tempted to rip off his gnads, that'd save the world from any future shits that might come from his nuts. The thought made her lips tick up into a smirk as her tail waved high behind her, yeah, that'd make her day for sure.
