Unfamiliar with the lake's terrain? His words were completely devoid of substance and intelligence, and his threats would have rung hollow were she not aware of the allies this pack, miraculously, had accumulated. Still, any wolf of relative merit would think their claim ridiculous. Regardless, she would not be so easily cowed.

"I suppose he expects us to believe his pack walks on water," she spoke to her own with a smirk, regarding Lachesis' claim that there was a direct route from the Surge to the Keep.

"See to it that they're really gone," Nineva then instructed to her subordinates, as she herself turned back toward where she'd left her daughter. She could just see them through the thick of the forest, Ellery and Yuka; as good an uncle as he had been an older brother when she was just a pup. Long strides quickly brought her to them.

"Come, Ellery," she instructed, having every intention of explaining to the intelligent little girl what had just occurred.

Ellery certainly had no problem being sassy to her uncle. In response, Yuka only shook his head, attention more focused on what was occuring on the outskirts now that it was clear that there was no immediate violence. The creamy russet-hued man listened intently to both sides, his eyes hard. Nineva's order was clear but he would not move until the woman was right next to her daughter. Giving the leading woman a brisk nod, the Left Hand took off after their intruders to ensure that they would not be returning and that none of them looped back around. Then, the male would generously remark the borders, making it perfectly clear who protected the lands of Vigil's Keep before returning to Nineva's side to see what their next steps would be.

She was done listening to this self entitled mans bullshit. Nineva and the rest of her pack wanted them out, now. The small band of wolves turned to leave, but for the pale agouti, that was not good enough. She could still see glimpses of their fur in the distance. When Nineva gave the order to make sure they got the message, Neha needed no further prompting.

Like a rabid dog chained down for far too long, she launched ahead with an ear splitting snarl. She charged through the terrain, following the trail of the invaders tenaciously. Her aim was not to catch up to them or even go near their borders. Just to drive them back to their hole. She'd run them down right into the darkest depths of the damned lake if she had to. A good fifteen minutes later, she was satisfied when she could see the wolves no longer. Spitting towards the ground she turned and headed home.

Neha Fade

Neha can often be found close to Aleister's side and therefore may appear in any of his threads.

Lilya offered a snarl of her own to match Neha’s, a part of her that she’d long since buried rising to the surface with the little confrontation between the two packs. Her fur bristling as she tried to calm down. It wasn’t dignified, it was a survival instinct, glancing at Lachesis, still incredibly tense – Lilya was not going to turn and run with her tail between her legs. She kept a slow and steady pace back, giving her time to get this persona out of her head (or would have had it not been for the Vigils Keep wolf) before she came face to face with her children.

She nudged Lach softly looking for some form of comfort. She did not like this situation at all; the parallels were too similar. A new pack sets in, claims they want no struggle, but soon they’re hunting on your lands, and then they’re attacking your border patrols, and then your young, and the next thing you know your daughter has to watch her own sister get torn apart right in front of her… she tried to shake it off, but the feeling of dread was rooted too deep to just let it dissipate.

Ramiel ARCHER

I don't believe in no devil,'cause I done raised this hell

The woman trying to protect the younger male snarled at him, Ramiel wasn't scared but he kept his comments to himself. He doubted anything he said would go over well and Nin wouldn't like it if he started something right then. He didn't back down though, like he would let that yellow eyes woman push him around.

His ear did turn to hear what was being said however as Aytigin spoke. It seemed he had some past grievance with the chocolate man, nothing Ramiel particularly cared about. Then came more hot air from the wolf the archer had assumed was the leader of the other pack. Ramiel rolled his eyes. The it was finally over and they could go back to their lives. One by one the surge wolves left, finally.

Nineva instructed them to insure the surge wolves left. So as his queen turned to go to her daughter Ramiel turned to follow the orders her was given.

Judas ARCHER

by the light of the moon, we run

Heated words moved back and forth between one of his own pack mates and the Leader of the Surge before he turned, taking off and having his members follow suit. Judas took a few paces forward directly after them, yet stopped short as he awaited word from Nineva. It wasn't a good start to laying claim on the northern shores of this lake and Judas found himself anxious and eager to proof his new pack's rights with force. Once Nineva told them to make sure the trespassers were truly gone Judas flung himself forward, following suit after him brother and Neha.

Lachesis had to be the most self-righteous asshole that had ever lived. Aytigin was awestruck, for a moment, that he had ever even considered following that man. It was a nightmare, even talking to him, and he knew that even if he had been his subordinate, he would not have agreed with the decision to blatantly hunt on another pack’s territory.

At Nineva’s order, he willingly chased the Driftwood wolves to the border and tipped his head back to let out a loud howl. He echoed the sentiment, though. While he could never hurt a pup from anywhere, any one of those subordinates were fair game if they ever came across the borders again.

But perhaps it would never again be an issue.
