AW! Set late evening

Another quiet night alone was to be had for Sunder as heavy paws continued their lackadaisical pace within this new foreign terrain, pale green eyes locking their gaze on the distant mountain peak that had long since devoured the setting sun before sweeping along the winding river purposefully kept tucked along his right side to serve as a guide. Winter was finally receding and with it came the hustle and bustle of creatures stirring with their newfound spring itch aching to be scratched. What a gentleman he'd be helping some poor damsel in distress relieve such a bothersome itch. That thought alone had the agouti male snorting in amusement as inky lips momentarily curled into a smirk.

Sunder may be devilishly handsome; if he'd oh so graciously say so himself, but a gentleman was definitely not in his description.

Following the riverbed for another quarter mile or so, a noticeable level of exhaustion began to seep into the young male's muscles who had been traveling for what felt like days. "Seems as good a place as any." A deep and rugged voice rumbled forth to slice the silence of the night while a heavy frame collapsed unceremoniously beneath the nearest tree. Spooked, a perched owl voiced its opinion by releasing a series of obnoxious screeches that earned a low snarl from Sunder. "Shut up would ya, ya noisy ball of feathers! I'm trying to rest here."

Kisina Donata

a look in your eyes

like black holes in the skies

The season breathed down her back again, hot and heavy.

Her grip on Seri loosened in these times, but that seemed to be well and fine with the boy anyway. Apparently having made friends, on his own adventures. Who was she to stop him? Perhaps her mothering embrace had dropped after their encounter with Aleister, perhaps it had been dropped from him to focus on the chance of another.

It was easier now, wasn't it? To know she could raise something once, she could do it again. Maybe a daughter, she snorted softly.

Then a voice rattled the trees. Masculine enough for her interest to be piqued. So she'd trail to where it had seemed to come from, a slow wave of her tail before it settled once more.

"Is that any way to talk to a guest?" She snorted.

Sunder
It would seem the man's grumbling was enough to shush the screeching owl. Content with his results Sunder let out a huff, beginning to lower his head onto outstretched paws until the sudden departure of his former tree-dwelling companion had his brows furrowing in confusion and head tilting to one side. Erect ears picking up on a released snort first. If there was one thing the agouti man was not expecting to encounter tonight it was another wolf.

Is that any way to talk to a guest?

Giving his aching muscles a stretch, Sunder hoisted himself back up on to travel-weary paws and gave his pelt a shake, chuckling softly under his breath. "Well, had I known my guest was going to be a pretty little lady, I would have chosen nicer words." A tired, baritone voice rumbled while allowing his eyes to slowly roam over the stranger's shadowy frame, gradually taking in more details as his nose inhaled her perfume. There was little difference in size between the two at first glance and there didn't seem to be any traveling buddies despite the faint, lingering scent of another intertwined with her own.
