Juniper Leigh

She entered much the same as she had the first time, using the moutain as a landmark and working from there. She never really made it to any of the important bits the first time around, but this time Juniper was much more determined. She didn't have her siblings, which was an obstacle for sure, so she'd be out on her own, but she felt she was ready for this new adventure, ready to finally break away.

The mountain was still a ways away, but she was close. Perhaps another day or two of travel and she'd make it. The directions were quite hazy from there, but wasn't the fun supposed to be in the journey?

The woman stopped short at the edge of the river, wondering if she should wait to cross until morning, lest she misjudge the slipperiness of a rock and end up going over the falls.

Jadon Allyn
He was still alone, at least for now, but the wanderer felt better about things than he had for a while. More encouraged to face whatever was ahead of him, to find whatever purpose awaited. And simply, more alive. Coupled with that, however, Jadon felt a deep need to return to the mountains. It’d been a fool's errand the last time, and one that had nearly cost his life.

But he still felt the need to face it again. Although he had no discernible evidence to prove it, the wanderer believed he would find the answers he needed there. That he’d finally find his connection to the gods, again. And maybe they’d finally set him on his path to forgiveness. He just needed to show a little more faith.

Driven by this new conviction, Jay had risen early and decided to head south, steadily navigating towards the shrouded peaks he could somewhat make out in the distance. However, the sound of rushing water increasing in volume as he progressed signaled a potential obstacle.

The wanderer changed course to head towards it, hoping to catch a glimpse at what exactly he was dealing with, though it ultimately wouldn’t matter. He’d swim, climb, go around.. whatever it took.
