Gent Lieris
For @Gunnar only.

Departing from his domain, the king was on the hunt. His strides were strong and purposeful, nose low to the earth and pale eyes ever searching, taking in the forest around him with great, wide sweeps. It was not the first time he had undertaken this particular mission, yet he found himself truly hoping this time that the man he sought would be near. Varied times he had visited Gunnar on the fringe of the timbers, carrying conversation with the man and getting to know the verse-speaker as best he could. Sometimes, the man wasn't present at all, but when he had been the two could spend a whole evening chatting away about various subjects. Since their most recent separation, Gent had been mulling over the idea of offering Gunnar a home atop the Crest. They could use the extra set of teeth, and despite his oddities and gruesome past, the king found himself trusting of the other man.

Decision finally made within his head, he had wasted no time in seeking for Gunnar within the areas of the timbers he most frequented. His scent was fresh, a clear indicator of his proximity, leaving Gent need only to pinpoint his presence. As he ventured closer, the king let out a low bark, the sound reverberating through the tight knit trees and hopefully, straight into Gunnar's waiting ears. Come, it beckoned.

Gent had to wonder, would the other man even be accepting of his invitation? It seemed he would have to be; why else would so much time be spent within the king's woods? Yet Gunnar was his quirks, and the Lieris man wouldn't quite be surprised if he was received with a polite 'no.'
