Morganna Archer-Lyall
Finally less... Drugged up post for Sven.

@Sven had taken another of his jaunts before she had a chance to pin him down, the cause of which (unbeknownst to Morganna) was the same that drove her into the Rise. So close. When the sun rose, Nicolo's time would be up, as would Hecate's. Two birds with one stone, but where would her brother fall when the carnage was through? She knew better than to predict the actions of @Skoll Archer, though @Hecate didn't seem the type to try and bluff. Had he written another chapter of empty promises, or were those reserved for his blood relatives alone?

Her snort expelled into the frigid night air left a cloud of steam in its wake. The steady rhythm of her paws thumping the ground in time with her racing heart. She ran until her lungs burned, dark paws expertly scaling the heights, as they had so many times before. For a moment she thought to aim for the plateau again, so elusive for so long, instead she turned about and headed back towards the entrance of the underground sea. With the heights at her back, she paused, the waxing moon illuminating the willows to the north, and who knew what to the south. Would she ever wander far enough to find out with all that had changed?

Sven Archer
Backdated to Mar 20th, night time.
Sarah, let me know if I need to change anything for @Sahalie's timeline. Assuming they parted at dawn.

After finally tearing himself from Sahalie's side, Sven had not gone directly home. Nearly a day he had taken time to himself, reflecting on just about everything that had shaped him thus far in his life. At some point, he had to start going forward, and he thought perhaps he might have at last realized the person that could teach him how. It was all so far from concrete, and he hated operating with such uncertainty, but given the shattered earth beneath him he was forced to accept that taking even the shakiest of steps was better than standing completely still.

Once he had reached something of a resolution within himself, he had started back. He chose to scale the mountain itself this time, rather than traversing the tunnel system that was his secret passageway to his eastern escape. His body still ached but his muscles demanded the workout all the same. He needed to build strength, needed to rival the men of Willow Ridge. The sun had begun its descent when he decided to move; by the time he crested the mountain, it was gone and the chill of night was closing on him once more.

Upon reaching the western side, he had not expected that Morganna would cross his path before reaching the Archer domain. His ears picked up as he caught her scent, and the boy decided to seek her out. He still had questions, basic ones that had little to do with his father and Hecate's betrayal but were important all the same.

"Hey, Aunt Morg?" he called out as he drew nearer, a rasp to his voice leftover from the screaming he had done the previous day.

Morganna Archer-Lyall

A hoarse voice called her name and her head turned to pick out the streak of white against the moonlit rise. A few more nights and it would be full, if the clouds stayed away perhaps a moonlight hunt would work some of this tension from her shoulders, ease some of the angry fire that coursed through her veins? She moved up the nearest hillock so her silhouette would stand out against the sky above, eyes watching her nephew approach. "Glad ter see yer home," she greeted, waiting for him to draw close enough to press her nose into the fur along his temple. Where he had been or what had driven him away could be guessed at all she liked but unless he offered the information freely she would not ask.

Moving to make herself more comfortable, an easy smile crossed her face as she realised just how soon things would be dealt with, or at least moving which was better than the rut they found themselves stuck in now. "Yer'll be a yearlin' soon." she mentioned lightly, obviously he knew just how old he was. "Any thoughts on what yer might like ter do when the time comes?"

Morganna's greeting touch was returned with an affectionate though brief headbutt against her inner shoulder. There was a beat of silence in which his pale gaze wandered away and he shifted his weight uncomfortably. The questions were plenty, but he wasn't sure how to ask them or what to start with. Words tumbled through his mind like it was a jamboree, and when he thought he might have something of an opening to latch onto, Morganna surprised him with her own question.

What would he like to do when he became a yearling? His silver eyes raised to meet her peach irises momentarily before they drifted away again in thoughtfulness. It's not like it was a question he hadn't considered before; quite the opposite, actually. It was just that the answer was changing so much lately, and while he'd had a lot of time to think on his way back of just exactly that; what his next steps in life would be, needing to voice them aloud to Morganna of all wolves made him pause.

The answer he gave would be very important, and he did not want to mess it up.

He curled his hind legs under him as he reclined onto the ground, anticipating that the stability of the position would affect the flow of his mind, and he was correct. His muscles were allowed to relax, and more focus was given to thinking. After just a few moments of silence, he made eye contact again, ready with his answer.

"Guardian is a thing, right? 'Cause that's what I want to be. I want to protect this place."

Not necessarily all of the wolves in this place, but that was something that would most likely get sorted out right. If it didn't, well, Sven planned on rectifying it himself.
