Mountain of Dire say you won’t let go

He wasn't sure he had said the right thing, in fact, he was pretty certain he had said all the wrong things. He usually did, but without his mother or his sister here to clout him over the back of the head and pull him into line he was fumbling along as best he could. At least she seemed to listen to him when he warned about the cat.

When he was certain the other wolf would be well beyond his line of sight he let loose a sigh he hadn't realised he was holding. Why did everything have to be so complicated all the time? Oh that was right, he'd bought this on himself, hadn't he?
