They were as good as settled, having dug out a den at Paradise Falls just in time to shelter from the snows. Still, their numbers were far form strong, and with winter cracking down hard on Relic Lore, Flair had decided it would be too risky to leave Kingsfall for now. Not that she was happy about it. She spent her days walking the perimeter of their little sanctuary, leaving her mark for any strangers to know these lands were claimed – if not quite in name yet, then certainly in spirit. But she was restless! Winter had always been her least favorite of seasons, cold and snow restricting movements and making hunting much harder; and she couldn’t even spend it huddled up inside, she had duties now; Besides, who would I huddle with? So she buried herself in work, walking that still undefined line, leaving her scent as leaders do, and trying her very best not to think of where she couldn’t go and who she couldn’t see. ”Speech" Thoughts |

Wrynn
The coldness of the snow had his nostrils stinging, and then transitioning into a somewhat numb feeling that left him a bit disorientated. With his olfactory sense knocked down a few pegs Wrynn was finding it difficult to smell things, especially since when he inhaled through his nose it felt like there were bees buzzing around in there.
At least the trees were nice to look at, and he found himself with his head tipped back to ogle at just how tall they were. By the time his gaze lowered there was another wolf heading his way through the trees, though he couldn't tell if they had seen him yet. He slunk to the side to try and hide behind one of the trees, wincing as the snow crunched beneath his paws in the process.
He stood still and held his breath, hoping they hadn't seen him and would just move on by with whatever it was they were doing.
