She entered much the same as she had the first time, using the moutain as a landmark and working from there. She never really made it to any of the important bits the first time around, but this time Juniper was much more determined. She didn't have her siblings, which was an obstacle for sure, so she'd be out on her own, but she felt she was ready for this new adventure, ready to finally break away.
The mountain was still a ways away, but she was close. Perhaps another day or two of travel and she'd make it. The directions were quite hazy from there, but wasn't the fun supposed to be in the journey?
The woman stopped short at the edge of the river, wondering if she should wait to cross until morning, lest she misjudge the slipperiness of a rock and end up going over the falls.
