Risaela ???
Risaela hummed in a lilting fashion when Cyril confirmed her concerns that they were, in fact, lost. And, like always, the smaller wolf liked to approach things with a hint of optimism. So, the young girl bobbed her head one time and cleared her throat. "That's okay," she said, setting her tail to an easy wag. Hopefully that would keep any fears away from the situation. Silver eyes calmly scanned the foggy area that she could so easily blend into.

"M-maybe we could start w-walkin' one way," she suggested, her brain working to try and come up with some solution to the problem at hand. She wasn't the type to just sit around and wait for things to fix themselves. "It's gotta ha-ave an end." Obviously. Nothing ever went on forever. So, as she turned and picked a direction to start walking in, she began to come up with conversation topics. Because it didn't occur to her that Cyril wouldn't follow along.

"Theo sa-said he met you," she said, tilting her head to glance back at the Whitestone boy. "He's m'brother. Said he met you ne-next to the pond."

That’s okay. He frowned, his yellow eyes studying the tawny girl with a single brow raised. She was okay with being lost? He snorted in response, his tongue laying still between his teeth as he offered her a soft shrug. Eventually the fog would have to disperse, right? So being lost wasn’t awful… right?

The ebony Kael nodded at her suggestion, his gaze scanning their smoky surroundings. Let’s go the way you came from? He suggested, his head falling to the side. That way if we hit trees we’ll kinda know where we are? If they tried walking through the tundra it would take them days to find anything—the monadnock included. At least trees were a good landmark and would give the pair some sense of direction. He motioned for her to follow him as he stepped past her, retracing her steps as he attempted to guide them through the fog.

Theo. His ears twitched at the name. The tawny boy that smelt like Bug. With the sad green eyes. He nodded, his yellow gaze still focused on the fog surrounding them. Yeah, he started, his tail swaying behind him, he’s nice. Doesn’t talk as much as you, though. A small laugh accompanied his words as he attempted to make a joke. To assure the girl that he didn’t hate her.

You have pp permissions

Being lost was definitely not on Ris' top Bad Things list. In fact, it was pretty much a natural state of being for the River cub. So when she had said it was okay, she definitely meant it, and it seemed to her that Cyril was playing along for once in their short lives. This was probably one of the best days ever, fog be damned.

"G-good idea," she praised, tail waving as she padded along behind him, happy to let him lead the way toward the trees. Again, she wasn't concerned - the fog would end pretty soon, and they wouldn't be lost forever. For now, she was just happy to be following along on this miniature adventure where Cyril wasn't being mean to her and they were having fun. This was a nice adventure.

But then he laughed, and of course that made things perfect. The littler wolf smiled in response and waved her tail. "Theo is a-awesome," she responded, prancing a few bounces before returning to her normal gait. "I do talk a l-lot more." She was proud of that fact, because it wasn't too long ago that she wasn't talking at all. A mischievous look crossed her face before she bumped him lightly with her shoulder. "Bet I can g-get to the edge of the fo-fog before you!"

He had never seen the fog so thick before. Part of him was worried that they would be trapped in the tundra forever. With Bug? The horror! But, he knew they would find their way out. They had to. Unless they were dead, of course, then there was no escaping.

He continued padding forward, his oversized paws thudding along the tundra in what he hoped was the right direction. His ears twitched in her direction as she commented on her brother once more, dubbing him awesome, before she agreed with his statement. The boy snickered at her confirmation, his yellow eyes rolling dramatically. That was an understatement. For once the girl wasn’t being terribly annoying, her presence almost tolerable. He almost shuddered at the realization. However, his thoughts were broken as her voice rang out once more, her nose bumping against his shoulder. A race?! He laughed at the suggestion, his tail wagging triumphantly behind him. You’re forgetting I have longer legs than you, Bug! He called out over his shoulder as he sprinted past her, a wide grin tugging at his dark features. As the girl broke into a run behind him Cyril allowed her to take the lead for a little bit before he overtook her once more, the fog beginning to dissipate as they neared the trees…
