Good idea :p I think it might just depend on how each character develops/how their relationship develops :) Also, I know that Seventeen is chaotic evil. Do you think she will continue to be this? I’m not sure if evil characters really can make connections, typically at least, however they aren’t the most normal (future) couple, not just cause they are females but also their personalities, so I feel like this would be something that Chan would be in full support of (good and evil, it’s going against traditions and what people think should happen, all for love). However, if Chan changes her in some ways, this is completely good as well :)
[/occ]
The tenderness of Seventeen’s touch surprised Chan as they made their way away, for once letting herself be gently guided by another for direction. As the ash-coloured girl told her she wasn’t a cripple, she rolled her eyes good naturedly, although some of her concerns, as well as her proudness, came out in her words. “It’s just a bee sting” she retorted, creating an air of indifference to her situation, although most would perceive that this was simply her dignity and self-image talking, put on to cover her fears, but also to make sure her helper didn’t worry. Although Chan tried to convince herself that Lyrelone was simply overreacting, she stole a quick glance at her paw to see it blistery red and swollen, before speedily flicking her eyes back up.
Although Chantico hated people worrying about her, for some reason this female was different. Perhaps it was exactly that, that she was a girl. Mostly being looked down upon by men as weaker, she had been forced to always act stronger than she was, and felt the need to carry the world on her own shoulders. The whole world of men being sexist, according to Chan, she only hoped that these lands would be better than the before, and before the before, and the lands before those. However, Chantico would probably carry her built up prejudices of men for a long time, and maybe she just needed someone different to the men to show her that they weren’t all misogynists. Or perhaps someone to fight next to her against it.
Chan raised an eyebrow, tilting her head slightly, inviting Seventeen to explain if she wished. Fire...rain...ash...fire. Yes, they all seemed very appropriate, for she was definitely fire, but what was Seventeen in the cycle? Only time would tell. Would she tone down and calm Chantico, or would she continue what Chan started with greater vengeance? Or maybe Seventeen was currently ice girl, not being liquid water and having dampening abilities yet until unforseen events caused them to meet. ”I guess we will find out” she said with a smile, before she had realised what she had just said, for she had just hinted that they would be spending enough time together to find out.

Thx for saying about the box, but for some reason when I post it appears as { } when I actually typed, and it shows when I edit my post, as { }

She might change to be more of a chaotic neutral in time, but she'll most likely keep her sarcastic, cynical, hates the world kind of personality, and only show a kinder side to Chan.
You can fade whenever you'd like.
You can fade whenever you'd like.
Seventeen fell quiet for a moment when Chantico spoke. She had an excellent comeback that seemed right on the tip of her tongue. Then she hit on something no great but okay. "No, it's a lot of bee stings." she corrected. She didn't want to hurt her pride by pointing out that right now she couldn't walk, since that seemed important to the fire girl. So instead she just stood, wondering what to do. "Perhaps," she smiled. The meaning of the words was not wasted on her either. They would see each other again. No matter what Sikois said about running, the ash girl- or rain girl- needed this wolf like she needed water. It shocked her how quickly she had become committed. It should have taken longer than this. It was only natural. Being committed too soon was dangerous. She couldn't discern anything about the female that would make her really fearful, but who knew? Wolves could always surprise you.
Not trusting herself with her thoughts any longer in case she tried to attack this wolf who had done nothing wrong, she laid down and quietly began to pull the stingers out. It would hurt, she knew and she hoped she was doing it in a way that minimized the pain. But she wasn't a healer. She couldn't be sure she would do it right. She would pull a stinger out as quickly as possible, then move to the next. She continued to do this until they were all done.

{occ} Sounds good :) Seventeenn might influence Chan as well, perhaps making her slightly more balanced in regards to good/evil
Thanks :) although we still need to arrange them travelling together I think, because otherwise Chan will literally leave Seventeen and die of starvation/predictors xD [/occ]
Hating to have to agree with Seventeen about the bee stings, she was glad when they finally stoped. Sitting down, she hesitatly held out her back paw to the female, letting her help, something she did not do often. Lyrelone went through each one quickly, and for this she was grateful because once they were removed the venom stoped injecting into her paw, there being some pain due to the number of stings and their awkward positioning, but no worse than a bad splinter. However, at this point all the venom was pretty much into her, looking down at her paw, which looked like a volcanoe eruption, trying to hide her worry. Once they were done, she breathed a sigh of relief, nodding her thanks to Seventeen. Nonetheless, there was still the slight problem that she could not yet, or for a while, walk properly, never-mind catch prey.
Shifting awkwardly, she stood up, attempting to hide the pain of putting pressure on her paw by shifting all weight to her other paws. ”Thank you so very much” she said in departure. The problem was that she couldn’t even depart, but didn’t want to burden down this stranger, or new friend, she just met any more. Besides, she felt the electricity running from Seventeen, and whether she was ash girl or rain girl, Chantico knew that to say any longer would run the risk of getting addicted.

Seventeen watched as Chantico struggled to her feet, and a wave of protectiveness nearly knocked the grayscale girl down. She couldn't let the girl starve on her own, unable to catch prey or fight. Even if she got to a pack, who would take in a wolf like that? Who would be so selfless? Seventeen didn't really understand why she was playing with the idea of protecting the fire girl herself. She looked out for herself and tried to have fun along the way. She didn't help others. But Chan had that undeniable something about her that made her want to be with her all of the time. That in itself was frightening. If they were separated, she didn't know if she could survive.
The bubble of fish in a creek touched her ears. Dashing over, she stared deeply into the water. Small fish swam near the bottom, where she couldn't reach them. One swam a bit higher and she shoved her muzzle into the water. The fish darted away, evading easily. Two more tries like this and she finally came up with one wriggling fish. The taste of its blood in her mouth was delicious and she almost started chewing. But then she reminded herself who needed the fish more and walked gracefully over to Chantico. Her head jutted out as she held the fish forward for her to take.

Chantico watched in wonder at the way in which Lyrelone caught the fish, her eyes wide when she returned with a squirming being. Watching curiously, Seventeen surprised Chan when she held the fish out to her. Closing her eyes for a second, she breathed in the sweet smell of blood where the girl’s teeth had punctured small holes. It smelt good. But what was it? Having only briefly passed by lakes, and having no one to tell her about the wonderous creatures that lived in them, she had never realised that there was actual living and breathing beings. Wait a second, how can it breath? she wondered, and suddenly she very much didn’t want to leave. She wanted to find out all of these things with her new friend at her side.
Tilting her head, she peered at the small animal, wondering what it was for. It certainly smelt very good, however she couldn’t imagine actually eating one, having been used to fur not scales. ”What is it?” she asked curiosly, and poked the fish with her nose, recoiling at it’s scaly, squishy texture as it’s fin slapped against her face. For the first time since her family had perished, her eyes were bright, a true smile on her face. At this she felt a prick at her stomach, feeling guilty for enjoying herself and moving on while their bones lay underground. Closing her eyes to relish the moment briefly, she then opened, and tried to put what had happened to her family behind her.

Seventeen smiled at her new friend's look of complete wonder. That expression on Chantico's face was like a precious gem to her, no, it was better. It was priceless. It meant that she was willing to tell someone who she'd just met two minutes ago, that she didn't know something. As someone who kept every little weakness in, the grayscale girl would never do this. But maybe she should, be happy and trusting in the present no matter what could happen next. Should she be wary and cynical? It might keep her from facing betrayal, but she'd live her life alone.
That being said, Seventeen's mouth was watering all over the fish, and if the fire girl didn't take it soon, she was going to gobble it down herself.
What is it? "It's a fish," she replied, though since she was still holding the small wriggling creature, it sounded more like: "Issa fiss". "You eat it."

(Occ: sorry for late post!)
”Fiiiss” she repeated, however it was what the ashen coloured girl said next that really sparked her interest. And her apitite. ’You eat it’ the girl explained, still keeping a hold on the squirming morsole. Sniffing curiously, Chan took it from the other, nodding in gratitude. However, as she did this, a strange feeling started in her gut, almost unpleasant, but mayb relief as well. Glancing up at Seventeen, Chantico realised what she had done; she had just accepted help from someone else. This made her uneasy, and had done it without thinking, for she had promised herself to always be self-dependant and never need another wolf for anything.
Pushing these thoughts aside, the girl with pelt of fire focused on the item that was now squirming around between her own teeth. Swallowing down any disgust at its scaley, slimey texture, or the way it flip flopped in her grasp, or it’s unique smell, she bit into it, not wanting the other girl to think she was a chicken. Chewing it, she realised that although very different to what she had before, it was a good kind of different. Taking another bite, she chewed with relish rather than aprihension this time, finding its taste improved once again.
When she had consumed half of the ‘fiss’, she went to nudge it over to Lyrelone, grateful that it was no longer squirming. However, when she started to poke it forward with her nose, the fiery wolf fell forward, instinctively landing on her hurting paw. With a yelp, she fell face first to the floor, the paw both supporting no weight and being incredibly painful. With inward annoyance, she now realised that her disguise of her paw being fine was now completely shattered, for although it was unlikely the other girl believed her pretending before, she surely must have thought it was somewhat better than it actually was.

Seventeen
Seventeen watched as Chantico ate half of the fish. A brief expression of disgust flitted across her face at the first bite, but it faded and the girl of fire seemed to enjoy it more. The first tastes were small hesitant nibbles, at the end she was gulping bites down like it was nothing. She was glad. More options for prey led to more opportunities. Though they would probably have to eat something they didn't particularly care for at some point, the grayscale girl knew she would try harder to catch something if either of them really loved it.
It was clear to Seventeen that someone would have to help Chan out and hunt for her until she got better, and since no one else was around, that duty fell to her. She couldn't help feeling that the injury was her fault, as much as she tried to tell herself otherwise. She was there. She could have stopped it from happening if she just noticed soon enough. Right? Thus she had to take responsibility for it, which meant she would be hunting for two until Chan was healed. There was another reason she wanted to stay around however. She liked the fire girl. She was independent and shared some parts of Seventeen's personality, while other traits were as different as could be but somehow not bad.
This feeling was only reinforced when Chantico tried to nudge the half-eaten fish towards her and fell right on her bad paw. Seventeen winced in empathy, rushing over to her side.
