There it was, that no he all but knew was coming. Levi might have sighed, but wouldn't have wanted his company to think he'd caused him any kind of ire. Chin up.

"That is a long time," Levi mused, reclining onto his haunches. How long had he been gone from home now? He tried to think back...

"Nah, he left first and I've been trying to find him. So... yeah. A little less sure I'm goin' the right way the farther I get."

His grin turned sheepish, aware it might seem foolish to be chasing after someone without practically any hints. He couldn't even help others help him!

"It's okay. Did you uh, set out on your own too?"
