Although he tried to lighten the mood it seemed it was shot down with those awfully tasteless words. Taking a seat in front of her he offered an ivory toothed smile. "What do you have to offer the pack I call family?" He rattled his mind for anything that mind sound interesting to her. "Well I can offer my skills as a teacher and caretaker. I get a soft spot for the young ones." His mind was put at ease talking about the things he loved the most. It only reminded him of @Kova and @Noble though which caused a twinge of pain. Perhaps he shouldn't think so much.
"And I can promise that my other skills, as teacher and caretaker, are a solid hundred percent better than my hunting skils." He offered a wide smile and a dip of his head to the other woman. As much as he wanted to leave at the sound of her boring words that would drip from her tongue he was enticed to stay for her looks and rather mysterious act. She was sort of a like a magician in a way. Always keeping you guessing what she'll do next, how she did it, and why she did it. Part of him thought that maybe this was some all well thought out trick though another part of him thought that this was perhaps how she usually always like. Of course that might be a bit boring to be like this all the time. Yet Beren wouldn't judge because he knew what it was like to be judged and judge.

Still Seems To Start And End With You
