Ace grinned back at the earthy hued female, feeling a bubbling of happiness and content flow through his body as they talked. It was so easy to converse with her, like it was destined for them to become friends. She seemed very nice, and liked the same things he did, which was always a good start on the road of friendship. Having things in common was what made friends so close, as they would agree on almost everything, but that wasn't all friendship was. It was also being there for the one that needed you most, providing comfort in times of need, and just being around for company and good times. He himself didn't have many close friends, and he hoped someday to remedy that. Maybe this would be that start of that.
"Yes, just being up here is so peaceful, like all of your worries disappear for a while and nothing bad can happen. My mother once told me when I was younger that the closer you are to the stars at night, the closer you are to your family, and family is important, is it not?" He smiled at her, not necessarily wanting an answer in return as it was a mostly rhetorical question. When she asked what he liked to do in his spare time he sucked in a breath and glanced away, brows knitted in thought. There were a few things he liked doing when he was alone and had time all to himself, but there was one thing he did most often. Ace looked back at Aesire when he spoke. "During the night I like to look up at the moon. It reminds me of my sister who was always there for me, no matter what. I just find standing there to be peaceful, and it makes a good break from all the bad things in my past. But apart from that, I enjoy swimming in the creek nearby and, I must admit I've never told this to anyone, making a large pile of snow before completely destroying it." He grinned sheepishly after he spoke, knowing that it made him sound childish, but he was, at times. "And what do you like to do when no one else is watching?" Ace said, a playful glint in his silver eyes.
