Kashikoi
Kashikoi looked up at the one requesting his name. "uh my name is kashikoi." he said nervously, but his nerves were soon calmed as kano came over. He knew he had at least on wolf on his side. He was worried still though because he could sense the tension between the two females. "i know kano its just hard to shake old habits didnt have the best up bringing in the pack i left." he said this in answer to kano's comment as he relaxed a bit.

Volkan Aquila
<blockquote>Kashikoi, huh? Volkan shrugged, briefly noting Wille's uncomfortable stance, her icy gaze following Kanosak as he swept over to the smaller male's side. As they exchanged a few words, the younger female gave a short flick of her tail, one ear flattening in distaste at the situation at hand. She knew what was going on here. She didn't have to ask. Yet, something inside of Volkan wanted to test it, wanted to see if this petite-looking female, who made her feel somewhat like a ugly, gangly tree with their height difference, was worth her weight in snow-white fur. She knew her eyes, her stare, betrayed her intentions— but for now she suppressed the urge, imagining Ruiko's disapproving eye, and bent down to pick up her kill.

<b>"Chill out guys,"</b> she called to the nearby males as she lifted the lifeless rabbit from the ground, trotting over to where Kashikoi sat and depositing the kill before him. <b>"Didn't mean to break up the party or anything. Just figured I should meet you all. 'Sides, I wasn't planning on doing anything with this anyway,"</b> she remarked through a little smile, the reasonable, placid side of her mind taking over now as she bent town to tear a strip of vibrant red meat from the rabbit. Before standing up again, she paused to nose it toward Kashikoi. He looked skinny after all, and if he was going to be just another mouth to feed, there wasn't much use in letting this food go to waste.</blockquote>

(Sorry, for the late post. I was busy. And I love listening to Kim Bum's songs....XD)

Wille sighed and shook her head, as her muscles relaxed. She padded over to the group, surrounding the fresh-kill. She sat next to Kanosak, their pelts brushing, as she sat down. Her eyes widened as she scooted a little to the side. She sighed again, in relief, as she lay her head down, yawning. She wagged her tail in the air.

All of them sitting to each other, it felt like family. She had only met these wolves, yet, she felt the same warmth of family underneath the tension and awkwardness. She smiled a weak smile as the old memories of family came flooding back, until her brain hurt. She remembered when her father made a little moss ball for her, since her brothers had a twig, {which was hard to find in their home}, and her older sister had an old toy she found from a human kit. Her father would toss it up in the air, after he was done hunting and she'd jump and pounce as it rolled in the wind.

Joining a pack would bring even more memories....

Kanosak
Kano thought he saw the glimmer of a challenge in Volkan's eyes but she seemed to shrug it off. He smiled as she told them to chill out and bought the carcass over to drop in front of Kashikoi. He was recovering but was still on the skinny side. He felt warmth radiate down his side and turned in time to notice Wille moving away. Confusion ran rampant through his system but he pushed it down and turned back to observe the new wolf in front of him. She was still a puzzle to him.

She was almost an adult just a little older than the scrap at his side, and had shed all of the gangly puppy features that a younger wolf would possess, her fur a mixture of blacks and greys like he had never seen before, and her eyes were pale blue almost matching the colour of the sky. His mother had been the only blue eyed wolf he had met before coming here, and even then only one of her eyes was that colour, but it seemed to be a much more common occurrence here.

He was tired of all of the tension and seriousness. It was in his nature to be serious when it was called for and playful otherwise but it seemed to him like serious was all he had been for weeks. He bowed down to Volkan playfully, his tail in the air before darting a short distance away, his tongue hanging out of his mouth foolishly. He needed to run and laugh and wrestle. It had been so long and he hoped someone would take him up on his offer.

He nodded thankfully at the newcomer as she dropped the kill in front of him. He started to tear into it slowly at first but quickly finished it. As he lay in the fresh dirt he looked over his new family, how odd it was to him to be treated as an equal and not a runt. He didnt like thinking back to his puppy days but they never ceased to haunt him. The only happy memory he had from those days were his mother and even now those grew dim. He was glad when kano's sudden urge to play shook him from his thoughts as he held back a bark of laughter at his friend as his tail started to wag as was the older females. They all seemed like they had something to hide and he could practically smell the tension in the air between the three before kano starting to invite someone to play.

Volkan Aquila
<blockquote>The way Kashikoi scarfed down the kill confirmed Volkan's hunch: that he'd been in quite the state of starvation before joining the pack, and was still on the mend. She felt glad that she could help out a pack member in such a way, even if he was a total stranger— yet something was still weird about him, the way he tended to cower, and she hoped for his own sake that he'd cut that out soon.

There was an uncanny silence. These guys weren't much of talkers, were they? Her eyes moved to Kanosak, who bowed playfully toward her and darted off. Instinct didn't give her much time to react; the playful child would always be a part of her, even if its heart was rooted in rough training more than play. She shot off after him, barking a short laugh, acquiring a perhaps excessive amount of speed in the short distance before she launched into the air in an attempt to tackle him. Wanting to test his reaction, she kept her jaws shut for now— after all, she was only used to playing rough, and didn't want to make enemies just yet.</blockquote>

There was a sudden change of the atmosphere. It was such a <span class='word'> caprice </span>, but a hopeful one. A laugh escaped her muzzle as the two bottoms of her pack mates waved high up in the air. Ah. She remembered how playful Kano was when she first met him. He had challenged her to a race through the Wildwoods. She had accepted it.

In that duration of the time, she hadn't met any other wolves other then Akila; her friend older than her, living in a nearby field. She had happily liked the fact that Kano, a stranger at that time was a wolf she could have fun with and trust. The light brown wolf darted away as the light grey one followed with a laugh.

She was thankful towards Kanosak. Now, he reduced the tension in the shy, new group. Volkan, as she was younger could easily play. But Wille, still had that urge to play along with them. That's how she made friends, by playing. She ignored her urge, and shook her head. Her tail flicked in the air as the whole group laughed along.

Kanosak
Kano was happy to break the mounting tension. They were pack, they shouldn't fight. Now was a time for bonding and strengthening ties, so if it was ever needed they would be able to stand united against whatever came their way. He almost didn't notice the static grey wolf flying at him and only partially got out of the way, stumbling but not quite falling as she connected with the back half of his body. He laughed happy to finally meet someone who could catch him off guard and he gave the younger wolf a genuine smile.

Wille was trying to remain aloof and he knew deep down she wanted to join them. He began to playfully stalk towards her. If she didn't join in soon he was going to have to make her...

Sheing the other yearling getting up to play got him excited that the others were going to play too. As fast as he could he got up and ran at kano before trying to tackle him with a playful bark that he hadnt used in a long time. He really didnt think about if he would make himself look like a fool, he just wanted to play maybe he really was comming out of his shell that he had built up so long ago it felt like a life time. He hped the the other wolf would join in the play as well that way she wouldnt be left out and feel awkward. He let all his thoughts and memories escape as he neared impact with kano.

Volkan Aquila
sorry again guys, had a busy week!
<blockquote>Volkan acquired her target and took the brunt of the collision with Kanosak with her shoulder, skinny legs quickly bringing her to a halt. She circled around instantly to face him again, catching his smile and returning it with a grin of her own— now this was more like it. Tongue lolling from her jaws, she watched, testing her weight on all four paws as Kanosak stalked toward Wille; the onyx yearling watched intently, curious to see whether or not the white female would join in the fun, and if she did, how well she was able to hold her own.

But before anything else could happen, Kashikoi was off the ground and bounding toward Kano; Volkan yipped a laugh of amusement, as if egging him on. She slowly drew closer, still watching for now, guessing that the rabbit really had revived him after all...</blockquote>
