Being a lone wolf was getting boring... frustrating. Part of him urged him to join a pack, but the other part wished to remain by himself. Shaking his head, Vium suddenly released a growl. His front right paw sunk into the mud and water, sucking him downward. Eyes narrowing, the angered beast put his weight upon his hind limbs, attempting to draw himself out of the muck. With a popping sound, the mud released its grip, sending him ass backwards. Cursing to himself, the wolf quickly scrambled to all fours, turning away from the spot that had tricked him.

Morning. Cool, after a slight frost.
The air was chilly, but he paid no heed to such. With a slow pace he walked about, nose to the watery grasses. The overnight frost bit at the blades of the greenery, causing some to crunch beneath his heavy paws. Nostrils flared as he took in the scent of the stagnant water. With a few steps, the wolf flushed some geese. The birds took to the air, releasing loud honks before forming a V shape within the sky and taking off South. Rolling his pale eyes, the man continued to lope along, not knowing what he was really doing for the day.
