Chantille Idasis
Cold. Light snowfall, about a half inch on the ground already. Afternoon; partly cloudy.

A heavy sigh escaped the muzzle of the woman as she walked slowly into the field of dying flowers. Their vibrant colors no longer existed; they returned to the earth, awaiting to rise once more in the spring. The snow was but a burden upon their fragile selves. Chantille dragged her paws through the thin layer of snow, her mind blank as her chocolate eyes held steady on the ground. She came to a slow now, closing her lids before suddenly letting herself plop down in the snow. She was tired. She was depressed.

The snow allowed her to join it on the ground. Her side heaved slowly; her flank was sore as all hell. Where Naira had torn on her flank, she had an ever so lovely wound. The healer frequently applied a mixture of herbs to it, but it still looked quite nasty. Allowing her eyes to close once more, she lay in silence, allowing herself to calm down in her favorite spot. She never wanted to make bad memories in Fireweed Rise- she only wanted relaxation.

Cisco Moriel
Cisco had not been long in Relic-lore and had made his den at Iridescent Lagoon, but had decided to wander a bit and explore his new home and it's surroundings. He'd traversed through the meadow and come to another area that was also blanketed with snow. There was a feeling about the place that seemed peaceful and he looked forward to seeing it in the spring when Mother Nature had her way with it. It was still beautiful in it's pristine starkness.

As his paws crunched through the thin blanket of white, his own form was nearly camouflaged with his winter coat. His thick undercoat was always paler, so in the wintertime he was mostly white with only a hint of silver and pale cinnamon framing his soulful brown eyes. As beautiful as the snow was, instinct told him that he'd better get a move on in finding a pack for the winter. He had a feeling that his age was finally starting to creep up on him and he'd need the support of a pack during the harshness of deep winter. He had hurried so much over the last few months that he simply could not bring himself to hurry just yet, even for so important a matter.

He was so lost in his thoughts that he nearly walked up on a wolf laying in the snow. Luckily he'd scented her before he saw her and paused many yards away. Her scent told him that she was female and that she was wounded. His eyes, once they picked her own white form out of the snowy carpet told him that she was terribly upset about something. His heart went out to her.

He didn't want to catch her off guard, so he gently cleared his throat and said, "Miss? Is everything all right?" Then he remembered his manners and added, "I'm Cisco. Cisco Moriel." He wagged his snowy tail and couldn't quite contain a concerned whine as he introduced himself.

Her body asked her to sleep, but Chantille did not want to. She was preparing to roll herself onto her stomach when suddenly there was a voice. Brown eyes flickered to the side, focusing upon a wolf older than she. With an umph, she rolled herself onto her stomach, staring silently at the wolf. Oh, how rude of her. She was just too tired to care.

An introduction. Cisco. How polite. "Chantille....Idasis..." She sounded so drained... it almost made her gasp aloud at herself. Instead, the creamy coated one cleared her throat, and allowed her ears to perk forward. "I'm quite alright, I'll have you know. Just very tired." That was true. She was tired, but would this wolf pry for more?Writing goes here, "Speech goes between these."

Ash Hervok

The rank challenge had rooted Ash to his last pissing point, and it had brought him to the point of which he just had to keep his eye on the healer. He had been deeply worried about her, though he had not seen her much. He had been too busy guarding the pack and keeping his scent on the borders frequently. It was when he had scented Chantille’s scent leading out of the territory had he made sure that Kamota and Steel would take good care of the borders and Bella while he was gone. He had quickly reassured them that it wouldn’t be too long though, for he wouldn’t want Athena or Tlarx to fret over nothing major. Her scent had brought him through the mountains and to the spot of where he had attacked his sister, and he had silently reflected on his actions, just as he did every time he passed the area, before following his pack mate’s trail once again.

When he arrived upon where she was, he tensed as the sight of the other male was in front of him. He wasn’t close to Chantille, but he was still there, and the scent of Chantille’s injuries were still fresh in his nostrils. He stepped toward, giving a small nuzzle to Chantille’s cheek before looking back at the other male. Ash had been sure he had heard his name…Cisco, he thought, but his green eyes flashed back towards his friend’s face. Concern was an obvious look within them along with protectiveness. He had been there to stop the rabid attacks that Naira had offered out to the healer and in truth, Ash wanted to bring the girl to Nina, though he knew that the two probably had the same knowledge, perhaps a healer would be someone that Chant wouldn’t mind talking to.

His eyes blinked before he looked back to the other male, his ears pricked towards him as he introduced himself, “Ash Hervok.” It had been awhile since he had introduced himself to another wolf…he had not left the boundaries much and he hadn’t exactly remembered if he had offered his name to any loners that had come to close to the borders, safe Ashanti…the little small brat who didn’t have the time to comprehend things others had to say. He briefly wondered what his sister had seen in the girl, but hadn’t let the thoughts plaque over him when he had other things to worry about…Bella and Chantille as an example.

I think I've finally seen the light..in you.

Cisco Moriel
Cisco could see the injuries clearly on her now and although they were not life threatening, they still looked quite painful. She said that she was fine, just tired. She did look tired, but there was a look about her that said that she was hurting in more ways than merely the physical. Now that he was a bit closer, he could smell pack upon her fur, although the smell of her wounds nearly overshadowed it. He wondered what a wounded pack wolf was doing so far from home. He'd been her just long enough to know that no packs dwelled in the immediate area.

She seemed to want to be alone, but something told him that maybe it was best that she wasn't alone just yet. She looked so forlorn. He dipped his pale head in acknowledgement of her words and said, "I am sorry to have disturbed you Chantille." He wondered if he should just go, but the old alpha in him told him that she shouldn't be left alone and he was torn on what to do. He didn't know her, yet he worried for her. It was just his nature.

While he considered his options and waited for her reaction, another male appeared and greeted the white fae with great familiarity. A subtle intake of air told him that he was also of her pack. Good. She was not alone anymore. Whatever had befallen her had taken a toll and it was good to have friends near in times of need. The younger male introduced himself as Ash Hervok. He tipped his head respectfully, acknowledging his presence with his friend. "Nice to meet you, Ash. I'm Cisco Moriel. I was merely inquiring after young Chantille's well being," he offered politely.

The woman remained still as pain stung at her flank. Wincing, she lowered her head slightly, only to twitch her ears as the sound of an approaching wolf entered them. Opening her eyes fully, she saw Ash lean in, and she felt the soft nuzzle of him on her cheek. With a few curious blinks, she allowed her head to rise once more as he introduced himself to Cisco. "Do not apologize, Cisco." The kind wolf offered a warm smile.

Nodding to Ash, she was thankful her packmate did stumble upon her- what if she had gotten attacked by this wolf? By his polite mannerisms and hospitable actions, Chantille knew that would have never happened. It was nice to know she had back up, though! Slowly, the female rose to her paws, sighing lightly as she did so. With her chocolate gaze upon the older wolf before her, she allowed herself to shrug.

"I am just.... burdened by my wounds, I do suppose. A bit of drama in the pack.." She shook her head, peering back to Ash now. "To try and challenge another packmate at this time.... foolish..." She mumbled these words as her head was turned to Ash; the inaudibility was only available to him.

His guard was not let down as he stood near his pack mate, her fur brushing against his briefly, giving him the slight relaxation he had been hoping for. He stood guard next to her as Cisco spoke to him, and all he simply did was nod his head briefly, letting Chantille do most of the talking. Considering that Ava had not been around recently had left a bitter hole in Ash’s chest, at yet another lose. He swallowed silently, pushing his turmoil into the deep pit in his stomach that was starting to become larger and larger. The urge to go see his sister was large, but the threat of Rhysis being around had stopped him from doing just that, and with another’s shifts to carry on his back now that Ava too had disappeared.

He let Chantille’s scent wrath around his nose as a slight comfort and listening on to what she had to say. At her soft words towards him, he rumbled a soft growl in agreement to her words. Naira’s challenge for the healer had been a shock to him and he was glad he had come at the right time to interfere with the two wolves…otherwise Chantille might not have been fortunate enough to be standing next to him…and it seemed that the simple task of standing was giving her troubles. The urge to bring her to Nina was an even greater urge now. He offered his shoulder to her for support. He didn’t want her wasting anymore energy than she was already wasting.

Cisco Moriel
Cisco listened politely as the young woman answered, saying that there had been a bit of drama within her pack. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that she'd been in a vicious battle and had come out on the short end. She didn't seem like the type to fight for no good reason, so it was very likely a rank challenge. Given that winter had set in and any pack needed all of their members hale and hearty to survive the bitterest season he frowned at the thought that someone appeared to have ignored that fact. Chantille was now paying the price.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I wish you a speedy recovery though, young lady. It seems that you have a good friend at your side, at least." He nodded to Ash in approval. His protective stance and literal shoulder to lean on had not gone unnoticed. He would have done the same had he been in the other male's place and he felt a dash of pride for the wolf that he'd only known for moments. He was the type that he would have been proud to name a member of his own pack, if he still led one.

Fleetfoot Citlali
They fascinated her, the wolves of Relic Lore. Her life passed by quickly since she had come to Aniwaya, and the lissome creature had risen steadily in the ranks to be by the side of her mate. They had known little else about the other side of the mountain, but the Great Spirit, Unelanuhi, had shown a ferocity to the mountains farther north to their pack lands, and it quickly became discovered that they could slip through to the other side.

The Great Spirit had taken Blackcrow from her, and in turn she would appease the god before it took more of her pack from her. She had been young when she had met her beloved, and because of this, he had fathered no cubs. This year they had hoped for.. the idea of carrying the tiny replicas of her mate had brought her no greater joy, but that had been stolen from her.

And Fleetfoot did not take kindly to having things taken from her. The fierce creature regarded the small group before her – calculating eyes studying each form with an intricate sense of loathing and curiosity. They were faithless creatures.. they did not understand the Great Spirit, and yet Unelanuhi had not taken from them. She had thought to appease the wrath of the god with her recent offering. The tawny girl had been foolish though, and the palid she-wolf had come to realize that Unelanuhi desired more.. and more he would have.

As silent as the name she bore, the regal she-wolf turned, her ivory and silver figure blending with the winter surroundings. She left the small gathering behind, bored with their conversation and unwilling to give her presence away. Whether they saw her or not, she did not know, but within moment’s she was gone, her search continuing.

Chantille Idasis
Chantille stood uncomfortably; she was too tired. With a now apparent frown on her face, she allowed her rump to hit the ground. With a shake of her head, she spoke "Thank you, Cisco." Her eyes now slowly peering over to Ash, she closed her eyes. "You'd have thought Naira was trying to kill me or....something..." With her eyes still closed, her head suddenly drooped.

How much intent did Naira have? She used to be so sweet and kind. Chantille could never imagine becoming what Naira had. Opening her eyes now, Chantille felt a wave of sorrow rather than anger toward the crazed female. "I apologize for burdening you with such... drama" Chantille said quietly toward Cisco. She felt her flesh warm up in embarrassment. What a great way to meet someone.
