Deacon had decided to take a strong just outside the borders. Rolling in and out of the willow trees to his content. No where in his mind was he thinking about going to far. Maybe just a few feet out of the borders before swerving back in so no one would be mad at him. Although in his weaving he caught scent of something rather musky. Trailing it with his nose he was unsure what it was...but the prince was well aware it was no wolf.
The trail was leading him underneath a willow tree. Spying a hole Deacon stopped. What was taking shelter underneath his willow trees? Staring momentarily he had noticed the musk was stronger now more then ever. Crawling forward Deacon barked...and maybe that's where he went wrong. Before he could even catch a glimpse into the whole a small but muscular animal came tackling forward. Its bear cub like form took Deacon beyond surprise. Although he tried to turn as quickly as possible the animal still managed to get a piece of him. It's harsh claws scraping the side of his shoulder. A loud yelp was given and the first thing to leave his mouth was a plead of names and help. "MOMDADSORYAENOKI!!" Every name just slipped together in a jumbled mess of his panic. Feeling the sting he looked at his shoulder. Oh gosh it was bad. It was oozing blood and it was stinging so bad. Seeing the ravenous animal in front of him he had his flight or fight reaction hit late. And it was definitely flight.
