The young silvery pup was growing curious now, she had huddled inside of the den, knowing that with each falling leaf that the sky was one step closer to falling and her loved ones would be swallowed up by the stuff, Her baby blue gaze peered toward the dim outline of the birthing den’s entrance..her daddy mama and sister had been coming and going so frequently….it’s gotta be safe right? Lunette took a deep breath and stood, there was so much to see, so much that she wanted know about and she couldn’t if she hid inside of the safety of the den all day!
The bright light of day assaulted the Vuesain’s developing eyes and caused a small squeak to escaped the girl as she blinked and looked around. The sky was still there...for now.. She stepped out into a small patch of warm sunlight and gave the area a look over. The deep and vibrant green of the leaves and the dark earthy browns of the trees towering overhead gave a small sense of security, surely the sky couldn’t fall too far with such..big stuff around..right? She tilted her head quizzically as she had the urge to sniff everything, starting with the soft ferns and eventually working her way sporadically toward a tree as each new scent caught her short attention span and the previous forgotten. Soon, she found herself sniffing around the base of a hollowed out tree and her head cocked to the side, there was a small gap in the base of the tree...small enough for her to fit through! And like the birth of every good idea, Lunette didn’t waste a second to considering what bad things could happen as she wriggled inside, sniffing curiously.
“C’ap” squeaked the small girl as she was only able to get partially in before her fat belly prevented her from being able to squeeze anymore. It was all that dang soft fur and milk wasn’t it? A scared whimper escaped as she wriggled and squirmed, trying to dislodge herself, the thought to try and pulled backwards failed to make an entrance in her mind as she squeaked in distress.
