Morganna stood at the borders, peach eyes scanning the open tundra as breath came in billowing white bursts. Having had little luck hunting in the daylight hours she had waited until the cover of night to try and find any trace of the bison herd that had skirted their border several hours past but even their wide, deep path had been filled in my the falling snow. This was getting out of hand.
Still they came, and with @Mittani gone to fetch yet more, drastic action would need to be taken. Hell, they might even have to split the pack to expand their hunting grounds. Her lips pulled down in a frown, brows furrowed with all that that might mean. But where would they go? Who would lead them? Perhaps it was time to start planning anyway, just in case. She shook her head to clear the snow that was gathering on her eyelashes and looked out once again.
Morganna thought she could see a wolf up ahead but the wind was not in her favour. She approached cautiously, eyes squinting against the snowfall until she came close enough to alert the wolf to her presence, a low bark offered as she drew closer. Who else was out in this awful weather and why?
