@Lauraceae bc cute puppy/Cas times are needed
It was... not a particularly good day for Cas. She had gotten back a few days prior from her excursion to the west and her meeting with Greer. She wasn't in pain, per say. She was simply just sore, tired, and stiff. The last few nights had been spent either with Niles or by herself, with the occasional trip to Draven's den for herbs and Neha's den to check on the pup. Or to see Sahalie, who happened to be taking care of Larkspur's son.
The pup was so sweet, to be the child of Satan himself.
Castel sighed as she headed over in the direction of where she thought Sahalie and Laurel might be, the wing of a sparrow entrapped between her teeth. She assumed the pup would enjoy the feathers to play with, and she herself had enjoyed the meat as a snack. However, on the way there, she had to stop and sit, dropping the wing to the ground with her tongue lolling out of her mouth. She didn't feel sick, not really. More fatigue than anything - and she wasn't used to feeling so weak.
She wanted to play an help, not be unable to make the short walk without going out of breath.
As someone who had been blessed with an abundance of vim in an incapable body, Cas was frustrated more often than not with her own abilities. But she'd changed her viewpoints quite a bit after they'd formed Quaking Vale. Though she still wanted to adventure and see new things and meet new wolves, she also wanted to do it in moderation, so that she was around as long as possible for her pack - for Sahalie and Alastor and Neha and Draven and Windy and Niles. And now, for the new puppies.
Perhaps it would be best to rest for a moment, she decided as she plopped down on her stomach, the forest floor damp beneath her belly fur. Nobody would be harmed if she just took a chunk of time out for a nap. It was uncommon for the silver-brushed girl, but not unheard of.
Unfortunately, she was closer to her destination than she realized.
