Her morning had not started off too great. Most of her breakfast had come up in a disgusting way. Luckily she had been at the bottom of the monadnock and could cover it with snow before she continued on. A slow patrol and brief hunt left her feeling a bit fatigued. She happily carried a few hares up to the top of the monadnock. There had been a burrow that seemed to have been untouched by any hunters or wolves. It was certainly the expectant mother's lucky day.
The leaders tail swayed with pride as she reached the top. For some reason, the gold veined boulders that Craw used to lounge on were calling her name. Piety worked her way on top of them before settling down her catch. Three hares and one looked particularly plump. Perhaps she would steal that one but she certainly wasn't going to eat all three. While there was the chance to store them away in a cache she opted for a much more bonding moment. The leader tipped her head back releasing a howl that those who felt like dining together for a bit should come to the monadnock.
Once her call was finished the pale Kael settled down onto the smooth boulder. She could patiently wait for anyone who might arrive before digging into her meal.
