Indeed they were lucky to have the large Kael among them. She had her worries about his presence when Morganna wished to leave but he had stayed and been her rock. Goodness, she couldn't have asked for anyone better to be her pillar of strength and love.
Piety was pleased when her subordinate and friend (she believed it was safe to call Cheedo a friend) didn't seem to want to wait on eating any longer either. The pale Kael happily began to politely tear into her food. It had been well worth the energy that she had put into it. She had really hoped someone else would have been joining them for a meal but that was okay. Piety found it better to have little company than to have none at all. Maybe after this, she could find someone else to socialize with and check in on. They weren't very large in size which still allowed them to be closer connected than back when the ranks had been swelling at the seams. The pale Whitestone leader couldn't exactly say she missed those great numbers. With them had come difficulty of bonds and food supplies. Of course, a few more willing paws wouldn't have hurt the northern pack either.
As she finished up her rabbit she offered a polite nod to Cheedo. "If you may excuse me." A kind smile on her lips as she slowly removed herself from the scene, content to find something else to do before settling down.
