Cas thinks the pack should do a little bit of bonding by playing a game! :3
@Kino @Sahalie @Larkspur @Niles @Draven @Neha @Mathuin @Marianna @Tikhon @Astrid @Sachiel @Lauraceae

Cas had no idea how this was supposed to work. It's not like there was a guidebook or something. But if there was one thing the girl wanted to do in her brief leadership of the Vale, it was to bring the pack a little bit closer together. Sure, she knew almost everyone in the pack, but she wasn't necessarily connected with them. But she definitely wanted to be, and she wanted them to be connected to one another, as well.

She had given it an excessive amount of thought into what the pack could do that would involve each individual member - pups included. A meeting would be so boring and dull, and she didn't think a hunt was possible just yet for the two little ones. Then, she came up with just the thing! It was honestly so perfect that she wanted to give herself a pat on the back for how genius she believed it to be. And the day was sunny and warm and dry - all perfect, ideal, amazing conditions for the game itself. She didn't see how anyone could argue against a big game of hide and seek.

A massive game of hide and seek. It was perfect.

The little wolf made her way close to the heart of the territory so that all the pack members would have a chance to hear and respond to her. A fallen tree made the perfect little bandstand for her to perch upon, and she tilted her head back to howl a request for all of her packmates to come to her location.

'Come on, everyone! Let's do something awesome!'

Tikhon Artemieva

It felt as though the weather was against them having had rain or clouds for what seemed many weeks. So when the Artemieva man awoken to a sunny morning he didn't want to waste it. However, he felt it necessary to take care of the self imposed duty of a border patrol. He'd been getting stronger so a patrol didn't take the energy out of him like it would have when he first arrived in the Vale. Once he made it through his duty Tikhon found a sunny place to rest where the warmth from the sun could sooth his aching muscles. He'd been resting there for some time when he heard Cas’ voice through the territory calling her packmates.

Lifting his head he listened for a moment before pulling himself to his full height. Once he was up he set off toward the heart of the territory. There he found the temporary alpha waiting for the other members to arrive. It was the first time he'd really seen her since he'd joined the Vale so it was good to see her again. “Hello,” he greeted as he came upon her before he found a place to settle in. He still had yet to meet all of the members of the Vale so he wasn't exactly sure how many resided in the pack. He didn't even know if they all slept in the communal den. He supposed that now would be the time he found out how many pack mates he really had.

Draven Leigh
let me know if the pp of @Sachiel and @Neha isn't okay!

The young parents had been flanking either side of the small den that had been Neha and Sachiel's home since the dramatics that had been his birth. Sravendidnt like the dwell on the memory of the rushing water or the few moments that his own life had been in danger when his head went under but ever since any kind of fast moving water had made him uneasy. In the heat of the summer sunshine the father had been dozing in and out of awareness as the quiet sounds of the pup playing had lulled him into a drowsy state. Every once and a while when the pup would exclaim in wonder or ask a question he would open his green eyes and answer with a smile before fading back into his light napping.

Things were good now, quiet and comfortable. Kind of like the infirmary had been for him back in the Cove, Draven's family was like a safety net that he had become oh so happy to rest in. The little voice in the back of his head still chastised him occasionally for not loving the woman he had started a family with but he mostly ignored it. This was good enough wasn't it? A single son who had a good mother and a pack? His own feelings didn't seem relevant to the equation. He would stay with Neha as that's what someone should do after they've had a child together. Whether they loved them or not.

Castel's call roused him from his nap and with a gentle nudge behind Neha's ear to wake her if she had been sleeping as well he smiled down at Sachiel. "Think you could beat me in a race?" Not that he had any intention of winning but he took off at a slow jog as if he was giving it his all. Either way, he would make sure the boy passed the finish line before him as they came to where they had been called. Draven smiled at their leader, who frankly he was quite happy had taken the spot from Sahalie even if it was only temporary. He was pleased to see that her health seemed to be improving since she had started her strict herbal regiment. Plopping his rump down upon the ground he waited for her to speak.

Sachiel Leigh Selwyn

His dreams were filled with the brilliant blue that consumed the sky and tufts of white, thrown across the stretch of blue, distorting the serenity. He did not mind; the imperfection compelled him, luring the little Leigh in, devouring him. Just as a cloud reached forward to gobble up the little agouti a loud sound from beyond the dream world roused him from his sleep. The dream quickly disappeared, falling into a sea of obsidian as Sachiel’s mismatched eyes blinked open, a frown cutting across his pale male. The dream had been so calm; so peaceful!!! Why was he being woken up?!

The boy grumbled his annoyance, his dark brows furrowing as he reached for his mother, seeking the warmth her tawny body provided. His father, however, had other plans.

He was nudged by the ebony Leigh, which earned a loud growl from the boy. Think you can beat me in a race? Sachiel was still half asleep—how was he supposed to race his father?! His jaws stretched apart as he stumbled to his paws, his little body swaying as he began to frantically blink sleep out of his eyes. Race, ugh. Without further hesitation the boy sprung forward, almost losing his footing with the first few steps before gaining composure and racing after his father.

Somehow, even in his sleep deprived state, he had managed to beat his father. He raised a brow at the ebony Leigh but did not question it, for he was rather pleased with himself. Flashing his blue-eyed friend a cheeky smile Sachiel sauntered over to his father and plunked down beside him, his little body pressed against the male’s dark hindquarters.

Neha Vuesain

Being a mother was tiring. But worth it. As she watched her son grow each day, she couldn't have felt more blessed. When she had first become pregnant, Neha had been uncertain if this was the life she truly wanted. Now that she had it, she wouldn't trade it for the world. Keeping up with the strain of raising a child, as a first time mother left her exhausted, more often than not. Which was fortunate, leaving her little time to dwell on the subtle changes she had seen in Draven.

Curled up in her favorite corner of the den, the Vuesain was catching up on some much needed rest before Sachiel woke her again. She felt bad for not being more social with her new pack. She would work on adjusting her schedule, work it out with Draven, now that their son was older. The last thing she wanted was to feel like a recluse, which was no excuse for a parent. She had a new start here with these wolves, in a place full of potential for brand new friendships.

The call from Castel, who was filling in as lead female, did not immediately register. Only when Draven nudged her ear softly, did she rouse. Catching the last fading notes from the Alpha, she got up, blinking the sleep out of her eyes. Content to let father and son have their race, she opted for a slower walk behind them. She still needed to shake off the effects of her nap, work the kinks out of her muscles and get in a good stretch or two. Spying Castel and the wolves already gathered, she noted the fallen tree on which she was perched. Why had she called the pack here? Was it for a formal meeting, or just play time. With a warm smile to Castel, and the male she didn't recognize, she sat on the opposite side of her son, curiously awaiting the rest of the pack.

Let’s do something awesome?

Ari gave a wildly dramatic roll of her eyes, even if there was no one around to see her. Living with the wolves of Quaking Vale wasn’t that different from living with the wolves of White Fir Notch, to be quite honest. She was here because it was her family’s pack, because Kino was important to her, insofar that anyone was important anymore. She’d come back for them, you know? But it was like… Well, it was like their lives would have gone on regardless of if the Leigh had stayed in Blackwatch Canyon or came back to Relic Lore or shit, their lives would have gone on just the same if she’d died in the blizzard now, wouldn’t it?

And now, and now, it wasn’t even Kino’s girl anymore. Sure, there was some shenanigans going on with her and the old guy’s puppy and whatever, but like—

Why was she here?

The massive female arrived a bite later than some of the others, bushy tail swaying behind her haunches lazily. But she didn’t see Kino there. Didn’t see anyone she knew, really, outside of her brother – but he had his family with him – and so the massive bear dog was forced to sit by herself. Which was fine, really. There was no problem being secure in her own company.

“Alright, well. The hell is the deal, yo?”

Thank you so much for replying, everyone! Round two will end in two weeks or so.
No posting order! How many rounds do you guys think we should do?
@Tikhon @Draven @Sachiel @Neha @Marianna

Not everyone was present for the game, but that was alright! This day was about fun, and not stress. First came Tikhon - the newest member that she'd invited in herself. She offered the man a smile in response to his greeting, and probably would've said something had Sachiel not come racing into the clearing, followed closely by his two young parents. The girl waved her tail at them in greeting, and remained silent as she heard heavy pawsteps clunking their way over to the rest of the group. She didn't know this fifth wolf, but guessed that it was probably the one that they called Ari. She was the only wolf in the pack that Cas had not yet met.

And she talked funny. The blue-eyed Noor chose not to comment.

When it became apparent that they were all that were coming to the clearing, Castel cleared her throat and hopped down from her little perch. "Good morning!" she chirped, glancing over the little group with a grin. "There's not really any formal reason for me calling you here. I've been noticing that Quaking Vale isn't really... a united pack. Not because we're fighting or anything!" she added quickly, wanting to clarify. "Just because we don't really know one another. We don't have any pack activities, we don't hunt together. I know it sounds silly, but I feel like we need to do more together."

Mirth flashed in her sky blues. "For example..." she began mischievously, approaching the nearest wolf to her. The small alpha bumped her muzzle against whatever fur she could reach. "We should play tag! You're it! Everybody better start running!" And, with that - and no other explanation - she flounced out of paw's reach, looking around to see who might be willing to join in on her silly game.

Tikhon Artemieva
Anyone can PP Tikhon chasing them and tagging

When he had arrived he had been the first one to answer the summons that Castel had sent out for everyone. He was a little shocked he was the first one since he was so new to the pack. After giving a greeting and getting one he found a place and took a seat to wait for the others. Sachiel the pup arrived only seconds behind him racing into the clearing. After watching him with an amused smile Tikhon found a place and took a seat to wait for the others to arrive.

Soon quite a few of the other pack members arrive which he'd not yet had the chance to meet. Shortly after that Case decided to explain why they had been called there. A game of tag, the dark agouti had never heard of such a thing as packs playing games to get to know each other better. It was an interesting idea and one that he thought might be a little fun. He didn't have time to consider the idea anymore as he felt a muzzle bump to his shoulder before hearing Cas’s voice declaring the beginning of the game. So that was how it was going to to be. Tikhon rise to his feet as he decided on a target, the closest wolf to him, to go after.

Sachiel Leigh Selwyn

More adults arrived, earning a frown from the little Leigh as he glanced around the clearing. He hoped this wasn’t going to be filled with boring adult-talk—he would have much rather stayed within the confinements of his den with his nose curled into his tail. His mismatched gaze focused on the russet shape of his mother as she arrived shortly after him, plopping her hindquarters down onto the ground next to him. He pressed his nose into her ivory foreleg, seeking comfort, before returning his gaze to the circle. Another female approached, her nose and ears dipped in read. She looked similar to his agouti packmates except for the fact that she was thick, much larger than the wolves he was already familiar with. Her size was intimidating but as soon as she spoke a smile broke across his dark lips, his ears twitching in silent amusement. Yo. It was not a word he was familiar with but he committed to memory, pairing it with her silver forehead and cold, grey eyes.

Castel began speaking once the stranger settled down into the circle and his mismatched gaze fell to her small figure, brows pinched with curiosity. He did not understand what she was trying to say. Something about being united. Working together. Blah, blah, blaaaaaah.

But this meeting was not about that. No, it was about something far more important…

It was about a game of tag!

Instantly the boy sprung from his position and sprinted away from the group, leaping out of reach from Tikhon’s extended paw. He made a beeline for the trees—the orange trees he hated so much—in hopes that nobody would follow him. He was going to win this game.
