Despite the childish innocence and purity of her statement pointing out the obviousness with Risa, it was made known in an instant by her faithful guardian that the select few words she had chosen to use in that moment were deemed inappropriate. The gentle physical contact from Askan's paw in the form of a shove more than enough to get that message across before his words aided the reprimand she received. Instantly the happy go lucky expression melted away and batty ears folded back against her head as her growing body sunk under the weight of the guilt that gnawed momentarily at her for doing something wrong and her tail gave a low apologetic swing in silent response to both that of her elder and the girl she may have offended unintentionally.
This little lady didn't like to disappoint her family.
Soon, though, the attention was lifted from the lightly scolded child and onto the broken voiced girl -- Was she related to Askan in some way since the two of them were so broken? That wonky attempt at a smile hadn't gone amiss by the ever vigilant mini Jessie so maybe Sphinx could work on fixing her too! -- her dark grumpy guardian introducing himself before giving a flick of his snout to signal for the girls to follow and just like that the speckled child of the Rye's spirits picked back up. A wide grin returning to her face and accompanied by that speedy wag of her tail. "Come, come!" She encouraged the smaller pup while bouncing in the wake of Askan's steps, stifling a giggle as she took a moment to mimic his usual sour expression in hopes of fixing Risa's smile during their trip to a nearby cache before wiping the expression clean from her face should the man himself steal a glance back at them.
Sphinx didn't feel like receiving another reprimand. One a day was her limit.
