Pip Mizuno-Sørenson

Pip's heart seized with anxiety and her brows drew down with the ache of it. Now? Right now? With no goodbye? But what about...? She owed her life to Grizzly Hollow. They took her in. They showed her what a true family could mean. When her own family left her, they had been there at her side. To heal her, to guide her, to stand by her side. And now, she was to leave without so much as a goodbye? It felt like the worst betrayal.

The mute's tail tucked and her muzzled drooped to burrow her nose in her son's fur. Pip squeezed her sunset colored eyes closed, but the tears fell regardless. This was a sacrifice, and no easy one for her. The little female's loyalty ran deep.

She choked on a sob before straightening her shoulders and standing tall. While the tears still glimmered in her lashes, her face was stern, decision made. Though it killed her inside, this was the best thing for her son. He deserved a life freed from such grief and heartache. Taking a bolstering breath, Pip nodded.

A clean break. May Veho and the others forgive her...

With a lick for her pup, the mute stepped around him to begin heading east - away from Grizzly Hollow.

For reasons Aegir didn't understand, the bigs were making a massive fuss out of this.

Ma might as felt as though she was betraying her pack, but Aegir felt no such guilt. He hadn't mingled with the other Hollow wolves all that much. Nor had he ever really struck up a rapport with any of the pups.To him the Hollow had been nothing more than somewhere his Ma wanted to be, where food was plentiful and there was usually something of interest for Aegir to spy on.

Even at that young age the Little Dragon noticed that his Da was the outlier, that he didn't mingle as much nor did he even seem to want to be there at all. But he'd stayed, or at least until he suggested they all leave for greener pastures.

So it was final. Aegir couldn't wait to go, to run off in whatever direction he pleased. He would have continued to jump for joy if it had not been for his Ma and her obvious distress.A whine passed from his lips as he leaned into her touch, allowing her to kiss and fuss over him till she was content.

It was okay. And if it wasn't then it would be soon.

With a bounce in his step-he was determined to cheer his Ma up-Aegir hurried after his Da, wondering what adventures awaited them all in the future.
