The sun was bright that morning when she left the den, the pale coated Myrddin didn't have any certain plans. With her mother away and her father busy she wondered what the other members of the pack we're doing. Specifically her brother, he hadn't been in the den when she'd finally woken up. Arwyn set off into the trees that surrounded the den in search of her brother. Now that she had grown a lot more since she'd first ventured from the den getting around the notch was much easier.
She'd found no sign of Elyan so decided he must be with their father or one of the other pack members. All thoughts of her brother were halted as were her movements. The small, brown figure of a rabbit was visible just a few feet away. The pale coated child looked around to see if there was anyone else in the area but the forest was quiet. This was a good chance to work in the skills that her mother and father had been showing her. She'd of course only been half listening but she felt she at least knew the basics, enough to practice anyway.
Arwyn thought she was doing great as she lowered her body to the ground and crept quietly up to the rabbit. Then everything went badly as the brown creature bolted and not realizing how close she was to the border the pale coated pup followed it. At full sprint she gave chase trying to gain on it wanting to be able to bring it home proudly and show her parents. She kept up her chase until she couldn’t run any longer.
By the time she finally stopped Arwyn realized as she looked around that she didn't know where she was. She tried to find the trail she had left but ended up traveling further from the notch. Until she met a wolf who promised to bring her home…
