Arwyn Myrddin
Backdated to November 3rd.@Jynx @Ambrosia@Tyne @Blackmoore @Sharan

The sun was bright that morning when she left the den, the pale coated Myrddin didn't have any certain plans. With her mother away and her father busy she wondered what the other members of the pack we're doing. Specifically her brother, he hadn't been in the den when she'd finally woken up. Arwyn set off into the trees that surrounded the den in search of her brother. Now that she had grown a lot more since she'd first ventured from the den getting around the notch was much easier.

She'd found no sign of Elyan so decided he must be with their father or one of the other pack members. All thoughts of her brother were halted as were her movements. The small, brown figure of a rabbit was visible just a few feet away. The pale coated child looked around to see if there was anyone else in the area but the forest was quiet. This was a good chance to work in the skills that her mother and father had been showing her. She'd of course only been half listening but she felt she at least knew the basics, enough to practice anyway.

Arwyn thought she was doing great as she lowered her body to the ground and crept quietly up to the rabbit. Then everything went badly as the brown creature bolted and not realizing how close she was to the border the pale coated pup followed it. At full sprint she gave chase trying to gain on it wanting to be able to bring it home proudly and show her parents. She kept up her chase until she couldn’t run any longer.

By the time she finally stopped Arwyn realized as she looked around that she didn't know where she was. She tried to find the trail she had left but ended up traveling further from the notch. Until she met a wolf who promised to bring her home…

Emrys Myrddin

With Jynx having stepped down from her position as his co-lead it left him with a little more on his shoulders where the pack was concerned. The pale healer didn't mind as long as his mate was getting better. It was rest and time away that she needed and he was going to make sure she got it so she could return to leading next to him where she belonged. Hawthorne's disappearance had taken its toll on the healer and he hoped that one day she would return even if it was just to let him know she was okay. Sylva on the other hand had disappeared as well and Emrys hoped she was smart enough to know not to return.

With Jynx away in search of any herbs or plants she could find that hadn't died with the colder temperatures care of the children was left to him. He'd left them in the morning and let in the den so that he could do a quick patrol and check the caches. Then he planned to spend the the rest of the afternoon with Elyan and Arwyn while they played or explored. Only when he returned to the den they had both awoken and left the den already.

Emrys didn't think too much of it being that they were nearly six months old now and we're free to explore in their own. He did however do another sweep of the border since he knew Arwyn to be one to try and cross it without permission. He also checked some of the other places he knew the pups to be during the day. Finding Elyan at a small creek that ran through the territory he went in search of Arwyn. He wanted to at the very least check on her and make sure she was okay.

When he had exhausted himself searching for her he knew he needed to get the rest if the pack to help him. The pale leader started to panic, he sent up an alarm for the rest of the pack to look for her. He gathered Elyan and set of for the border to check every inch of it for signs of his daughter crossing it. He needed to find his pale coated daughter before her mother returned. He couldn't lose another child, it had been too hard the first time and he didn't want to imagine what it would be like to lose Arwyn too.

Elyan Myrddin

Already Elyan missed his mother even though she hadn't really been gone that long. His father promised she would he back soon enough. With that knowledge setting his mind at ease the gray pup left the den a little while after his father off to explore the territory, maybe something had changed. At least that was what he told himself to justify exploring places he already had. If he were honest with himself he'd grown bored exploring the territory so when he came upon the stream and saw the fish swimming in there he knew he would have much more fun chasing them.

Elyan pounced on them and tried to search them out with his mouth open in the water. He didn't even care about catching one since just chasing them was a whole lot more fun. He did that in into the afternoon until his father's call reached his ears and Immediately he thought something had happened to his mother. Hopping out of the water he shook his coat out before running to where his father's call originated. “What's going on dad? Is mom okay?”

Nauja Mizuno

Her morning had been spent at the spring trying to catch a few fish for the caches. It was something different and it helped her to use the skills that she used at home in Bella Coola. It was just a little bit of time that had stayed with her through the years. She had Tyne now too which was a comfort, she'd missed her friend more than she'd known. Taking a short break the sea wolf looked over at her haul and saw she'd already caught three fish. Deciding that was enough for now she stepped out of the water and picked up her catch.

Her first stopped would be the cache to drop her prizes before grabbing a snack that she would have before starting her patrol. She only got as far ass burying the fish before the alarm reached her. She'd never hear the pale leader sound like that. She didn't know what could possibly be wrong but she knew she would have to go. With Jynx away they were a little short handed so it would mean everyone would have to pitch.

Glad the fish had already been covered Nauja dropped everything before racing through the trees to where she found the pale leader and his son. “What's wrong Emrys?” She said having not heard the boy ask the same question.

Ambrosia Hellebore
Most of his morning had been spent checking the borders, zigzagging over the border and then back into the pack lands. So he wasn't too far away when he heard Emrys' almost frantic call, frowning at the time of his leader's voice.

It didn't take him long to arrive, Nauja and Elyan already there as he looked up. Catching the tail end of Nauja's question, asking what was wrong, Ambrosia decided to paitently wait for the answer. What could have riled Emrys up so much...? Ambrosia blinked as he glanced over to Elyan, wondering where his sister was. The two were often close together, at least whenever he saw them.

Then aginn, even he didn't spend all his time with his siblings growing up so the girl surely was just exploring?

Tyne Kersey

The hare hung from his blood stained maw as creamy limbs strode through the Fir territory. Hunting had always been his forte, like his father before him Tyne strived to make himself the best hunter possible. Granted the Notch was far different than Bella Coola but that didnt matter. The Kersey man would always love to hunt. The call rang through the trees causing Tyne to stop momentarily before taking off towards the nearest cache. Once his kill was buried the agouti male ran towards the origin of the call. When he arrived it was clear to see there was something wrong. Nauja, Emyrs, Ambrosia (whom he only knows from the pack hunt) along with one of the pups. What could be wrong? He moved to Naujas side and gave her a concerned look. He hoped it wasn't anything too wrong.

Jynx Myrddin

Her trip beyond the reaches of their home had lasted a little longer than she expected. A brief run in with the stranger at the falls had held her up, but it was nothing serious. Her search for medicinal herbs which were still viable had turned up some results, albeit, less than she would have liked. In her jaws, carried neatly but delicately, was a small bundle of Solomon's seal, Aconite and Psilocybe mushroom. The quantity of each wasn't exactly abundant, but it would be enough of each supply to get Emrys through an emergency in a pinch, if he used them carefully. Hurriedly breezing across the southern border, her first stop was his infirmary. The sooner she could stash these herbs away, where they would be protected from the increasingly cold climate, the better.

Gently tucking them under a pile of insulating moss with a delicate scrape of her paws, she exited the infirmary and continued towards the northwest border. With her absence, Emrys had been picking up the slack, but she still felt compelled to do her part and leave her mark, on any patches unchecked. Their home was a big place after all, and it was a lot for one wolf to try and cover. As she trailed along the borders, leaving her mark in her wake, she searched for any signs of who had passed by recently. Slowly, one scent in particular, seemed faint. That of Arwyn's. Her brows pinched together. Her daughter always had been the more reckless of her children. Always testing, trying to see what she could get away with. She could just simply be hiding in the other side of the territory.

Emrys' distressed cry put that theory to rest. Muscles stiffening, she held back the bile that threatened to rise up in her throat. She had never heard her mate sound like that before. Something was not right, and she could only pray to the gods, that it did not involve one of their children. Taking off in a sprint, she pushed her way through the maze of pines and small clearings that dotted their home, towards the source of her husbands call. It was by the river, where she found him, Elyan, Nauja along with Tyne and Ambrosia gathered. All but Arwyn. This was no ordinary gathering. As she neared, the expressions of concern and deep confusion only twisted the knot in her stomach tighter. Her mouth went dry, as she appeared, only recently back from her long trip. Her agouti fur brushed alongside that of her sons as she slid beside him, who was almost as tall as she was now. "Emrys..." She rasped, her voice thin, bordering on panic. "What's going on? Where is our daughter?" The slight rise of her hackles lining her spine showed her great unease.

Emrys Myrddin

He'd sent his call for the rest of the pack before waiting impatiently for them to arrive. They needed to start looking for Arwyn as soon as possible. His blue gaze fell to his son seeing the worry on his boys face, the pale leader hadn't told him what had happened, not yet. At Elyan's question he nudged his son's cheek and licked his crown, “Soon,” he told him quietly. Nauja appeared right after that asking the same question. Emrys straightened back up as Tyne and Ambrosia appeared both with concerned looks on their faces. Then just as he was about to explain the situation another appeared.

His wife back from her trip on possibly the worst day ever. Emrys knew she was due back anytime but he'd hoped to have found Arwyn before Jynx even knew she was missing. His mate was sharp and noticed their daughter was not with the gathered wolves. His gaze drifted over their subordinates before going back to Jynx. He took a deep breath before stepping toward her despite the raise of her hackles.

“I don't know where she is. I've searched the territory for her and haven't found her, I’m sorry love I should have kept a better eye on her,” he told before brushing his muzzle along hers to try and comfort her. Emrys had to be strong for his mate, son, and the rest of the pack no matter what he was feeling on the inside. He then turned to the others, “We need to expand the search outside the territory. Arwyn likes to explore beyond the borders. Nauja you take the north, Tyne the south, Ambrosia the east.” Then Emrys looked at his son their two newest wolves hadn't showed up to help so he needed to trust Elyan would be okay. “Elyan you search the west, don't go too far from the border and be careful.” His son was old enough and usually did as he was told. Emrys knew he would want to help look for his sister.

Emrys turned back to Jynx, “You and I will take the east. We’ll find her Jynx. She's never gone too far from the border before. She may have just gotten turned around and needs some help getting back,” he tried to reassure his mate.

Elyan Myrddin

The look on his father's face when he arrived worried the gray pup. He'd never seen his father look like that or sound as he did when he'd sent out the call for the pack. Elyan worried that something had happened to his mother since she'd been gone a little longer than expected. When he asked what was wrong his father nudged him and licked his crown but didn't answer his question. He was about to push the matter because he really wanted to know but the Nauja, Tyne, and Ambrosia all showed up.

It was his mother's appearance that caused his tail to wag behind him as she brushed against him. Elyan could see that she looked okay but if it wasn't something wrong with her then what could it be? It wasn't until Jynx spoke that he realized Arwyn hadn't shown up with the rest of the members. Where was his sister? Elyan tried to think if he'd seen her all day but then his father confirmed that she was missing. What did that even mean? He looked between his pack mates and then back to his mother and father. Emrys gave orders of what each wolf was to do in the search and his father wanted him to check the area past the west border.

The gray pup gave his father a nod, he would do whatever it took to find his sister. When he did finally find her he was going to let her have it for worrying their parents so much.
