He had thought that maybe Leotie would soften in the face of the girl's naivety, her kindness disallowing her from being harsh now that the threat was all but gone. It was one of the few times that Sven was glad to be wrong. She stood her ground, as equally careless for the young girl's apologies as the pale Archer had been. She even replayed her threat, growing more menacing despite the youth's submission. Sven had to fight to keep a smirk of pleasure from creeping over his lips.
He liked Leotie's tough side.
The girl did not need to be told again. Clearly perplexed on why they were being so unfriendly, she backed away without asking whatever other questions must be on her mind before slinking off altogether. Sven would stand watch for a few moments after all traces of her presence had vanished, and would be sure to spend some extra time minding the edges of their territory tonight to make sure that no one returned.
