Pyriel Albarn

Pyriel had spent his morning in the cavern after a rather rough night. The cold had caused his shoulder to be more bothersome than usual and his nightmares were at full force. He made his way through the territory a slight limp in his step from his shoulder still bothering him. He hadn't been much up to hunting or a border patrol that morning. Instead he thought he would rest by the communal den to see if he felt better in a few hours. The pale Agouti found a sunny rock and laid down on it with his painful shoulder to the sun. He hoped the warmth would give him some relief.

Abaddon
She slowly walked closer to her packmate, slumping down onto her stomach about a yard away. "What is it today, Small?" Abba asked a little roughly. It would only be a secret to a blind wolf that the tawny fella had been a little sluggish today. She had caught sight of the limp but wasn't ready to straight up point it out, yet. Whatever he was feeling up to sharing would be accepted.

Maybe after checking on him she'd get off her own arse and doing something productive. She was cutting herself some slack, though. As an Advisor (or advisor in training) it was her business to know what those of pack were up to.

He'd been eating there in the sun with his eyes closed absorbing the warmth of the sun. He could already feel some if the pain in his shoulder subsiding a little. Finally he was getting some relief. The sound of approaching paws steps caused his ear to flick in their direction. Abaddon, he should have known. Eventually he would learn what her pawsteps sounded like. He cracked an eyelid as she spoke asking what it was today. “Old war wound flaring up,” he said flatly.

Though it was completely healed by not there were times he could still feel the flesh that had once resided there. He'd never gotten the impression that others noticed the obvious indent in his shoulder he often wondered if it had come to their attention. He raised his head to look at her, “And just what is the queen's advisor up to today?”

Kyna Argyris Archer
Set shortly after the failed joint pack hunt.

Kyna curled up, small.  Unhappy.  Did not seek out Greer, for the man was caught in a difficult position.  She had never been as close to her own immediate family in the way her mate was, but she had never been so crossed by them, either.  (And when Aponi had turned her world upside down, she took it in her own paws -- and here she was now, alpha of Aurora Heights.)

But she did not feel like an alpha just now.  She did not feel like a very good daughter, or a good sister -- not a good mate or a good mother, either.  Her daughter had been kidnapped, and she had no idea where Revon had gone.  Whether or not the strange loner had been lying about the wolf who looked like Greer's brother, whether or not Revon had wandered off...but what did it matter, if they didn't find the girl?  They hadn't found a single hint of where she'd gone.  Kyna whined, soft and low as she hid her own face beneath her paws, hot tears welling up in her eyes.

What was she supposed to do?

Ember Reinier
It angered and hurt her that this had happened to her friend's family. Ember shared Kyna's doubts about the Ridge wolves, after having been filled in on the previous confrontation when she and the alphess had spent her night back catching up. That the same scorned man would be blamed for taking away Revon, an assumed act of vengeance, was too glaring of a coincidence for her to not uphold her suspicions. Yet she wouldn't act on her own accord, could only support Kyna and her wishes.

So when she came upon her, smelled the saltwater in her eyes and felt the grief rolling off of her coiled frame, Ember moved soundlessly to comfort her. She curled around her friend, settling her chin upon the other woman's shoulders and held her. She wanted to promise that they would find her child, but knew better than to risk marking herself a liar. Whatever happened, however, she would see Kyna through to the other side of it.

assuming kyna would've told her about the first fight with summiter, let me know if i'm wrong and i'll change it. <3

Kyna Argyris Archer
She stiffened at the feel of another wolf -- and relaxed almost immediately, realizing she knew the scent so well. Ember was a friend, a close friend, and so she allowed herself to be spooned by the pale female, dropping her head back to the ground as another restless whine escaped from her muzzle. Ears laid flat against her skull. Eventually, she wiped at her eyes with her paws, shifting just enough to look at the other wolf. "I don't know what to do," she whispered. Knew Greer did not want to believe his family was responsible for this -- there was a reason the entirety of the pack had gone storming down the mountainside when the loner had first given them this information.

More and more, Kyna was starting to wonder if there was another white wolf lurking around. Or maybe no white wolf at all. That her first run in with Sven wasn't particularly positive probably hadn't helped her decision making skills. But what now?

"There's no trace of her. Not anywhere."

That's fine, she totally would have shared!

Abaddon
She lounged lazily in the morning light. There was work to be done but what good was she if she wore herself thin?

Her head was settled on her paws, watching the area around the den. She figured everyone else was already running about doing whatever it was they did best. Abaddon was rather glad for it truthfully. It allowed her to have a silent moment to herself.

How long that would last was entirely unknown. Better to enjoy it while she could though. With that thought, she shifted to lay on her side and soak in what little sun she could. It had been terribly cold lately after all.

A quiet day around the territory, that's what it had been for the warrior that morning. It had put him in a better than usual mood. He'd stopped at the cache and grabbed himself some breakfast that he was planning to enjoy. Carrying it to the den he settled down outside before draping across his forepaws where he dug in taking his time with it.

There was still plenty to do that day but it wasn't often that he took a few moments to himself. The rest could wait until he'd had a proper breakfast. He didn't quite know if he wanted to get started on his day immediately following filling his stomach.

Attica Archer
so now i will be waiting for the world to hear my song

It wasn't the best timing but it was probably as good as it was going to get in the coming months. She was excited for @Kyna and @Greer to have more children. Now that Revon had been returned unscathed and she had managed to make it through her heat without any mishaps, well, it only seemed to make more and more sense the more she thought about it. If she was going to go anywhere, it was better to do it now.

Attica was homesick, but it wasn't the Willows she would be asking for permission to visit. She came carrying a phesant, that had looked far more splendid before her slobber and teeth did a number on its feathers, and she poked around, hoping to run into either of the leaders. She wanted to head to the lagoon for a few days, to spend some time with her aunt and her father. She had missed so much growing up, and she wanted to see if he was any better than the last time she had seen him.

so they can tell me I was wrong
