Garmir Ghostpaw
OOC: Midnight between Dec 12th and 13th. All CAD wolves are welcome. I understand Garmir is breaching into territory (kinda) uninvited and it might get him into trouble, but he is ultimately seeking to join as per Treyah's earlier offer. He just does not know how to knock...

This had to be close. Garmir did not feel like he could continue much longer, his steps already reduced into slow stumbling with some forward motion, which took every bit of his consentration just to keep him on his feet. He had crossed the border, or at least he thought so, not entirely sure had he imagined the scents he had picked few moments ago. He had followed Treyah's instructions, approaching territory from north, crossing small creek just as she had described.

Why was he here? Truth be told, he did not know. Perhaps her earlier offer to join was his last hope, his final desperate attempt to cling onto the parody of existance that he lived in. He had been too proud to join earlier, too arrogant and confident in his skill to find Anaeia before snowfall. This was not the same wolf she had invited to join her pack. None of that calm and confidence showed on him anymore. What he was now was but a broken husk, half way ready to give up on life - not asset he could have been earlier.

His marching came to halt all of sudden, Garmir's body shaking not just because of the cold but because he lacked strenght to stand. He slumped down in snowy ground and let out groan, trying to crawl forward until he gave up on that as well. He buried his head to the ground and begin to laugh with shaky breath. "hh..Ahahhah...Its a joke... Its jus-t a joke.." -He told himself, his laugh calming down for a brief moment until it picked up again.

Kerberos Rigel
The smell of a stranger on top of the sound of laughter caused his fur to raise. He prowled with aggression towards the sound. Kerberos could not risk any more accidents. They had suffered enough already it was time for him to step up his game. It was his job as a leader to keep those around him safe. Look how well he'd done at that already.

Yet the sight was pitiful. A crumbled man laughing on the floor. Kerberos had been witness to those with weakened mental states. He wanted to feel pity but a threat was still present. "Get up and get out." Her ordered deeply, his posture aggressive and dominate. The male looked week and would likely be easy to force remove if it came to that.

Garmir Ghostpaw

Garmir's laughter came to cease as he heard the alpha's demand. Up until this point he had not even noticed someone had already found him and the earthen colored male took a second to gather himself, regaining the appearance he had managed to loose for a second. With calm, if not exhausted breath, he asked. "Who are you?" He had heard the demand but even had he wanted to, Garmir propably could not get up on his feet, let alone make it all the way back. He did try to lift his upper body from the ground, his fore legs twitching as he managed to bring himself up into a sit, his head hanging low.

His eyes drifted around, seeking for the other wolf, ears also turning above his head until he came upon blurry image of a male standing not that far from him. It took a moment for his eyes to focus and pick more details but Garmir found himself staring at another wolf not so different from him, albeit better taken care of. He broke a smile, cold air coming from his nostrils as he sighed in strange mixture of relief and humour. "Did I make it?"

Treyah Tainn
'Cause nobody can save me
Treyah Tainn

Treyah wondered if Kerb was out of his den again tonight. Part of her was hopeful, they had been making a habit of meeting under the moon while the rest of the pack slept and she treasured the stolen moments they managed, free from the weight and constraints that came with the image they had to uphold during the daylight hours. She would push down the painful pangs in her stomach, the unbased resentment that she would suddenly feel towards Maera if she stumbled across the woman and her co-lead during the daylight hours. There was no reason for her to feel that way, she was her friend, she had been here from the begining and Kerb was her mate. It wasn't like Maera was doing anything wrong, and yet Treyah couldn't wrap her head around the vicious feeling that flooded her blood in those moments, barely managing a strangled smile before retreating away from the pair.

As luck would have it, the Rigel's scent came to her on the breeze, laced with one that was foreign. On high alert after Suka's disapearance Treyah hastened to the scene, worried about what might happen if her co-lead found himself outnumbered. "Kerb?" She finally found him, eyes falling on the stranger splayed out on the ground before him... but she knew that voice, and her tail dropped to a familiar wave. "Garmir? You found us... But you look terrible, what on earth happened?" Obviously he hadn't managed to find his friend yet, there was only one scent here and it was his own.

Kerberos Rigel
sorry for a short one but dont wanna hold you all up

"I am the Leader here." His lip firmly curled to expose his teeth. Kerberos didn't care who this male was or where he was trying to make it. He wanted the heathen out of his home. The Draw leader was tired of his family constantly being in danger. He was tired of always living in fear of when the next wolf would go missing. Even if this wolf was not to blame - he was here, he was unwelcomed and he would pay.

Kerberos only got to click his teeth in warning before the familiar - and far more forgiving - voice of Treyah spoke up. He growled with distaste. "He can explain himself outside of the borders." The Rigel male didn't mind his younger co-lead bringing wolves home but if this was the kind she was starting to drag back they would need to have a talk.

Garmir Ghostpaw

Garmir recognized he might be in trouble for just suddenly crawling into the territory uninvited and with no explanation. He held no grude against Kerberos for his choice of words and had he been in his position, he would have done the same - albeit possibly with little more immidiet violece added. The Alpha male confirmed earthen male's suspicion that he indeed was the leader and the guardian of the pack. Garmir only hoped Treyah was still in some position to save him - or that this was even the right pack to begin with. If not.. this would likely be his end stop. Garmir's blurry eyes moved up along Kerberose's body as he bared his weapons at the trespasser, Garmir not responding to threat of violence with anything. He accepted his fate even if it was to die at the fangs of the other male. His head dropped down again and he whispered. "I guess I came to wrong place... "

Treyah's familiar voice however sparked some life in him as he heard her call for the leader. His ear's perked up and his eyes turned at the approaching figure he even in his current condition recognized. Seeing her gave him a bit of hope, and from that hope stem his next words. "Im sorry. I know this is not what you intented but I need..." -admitting that Garmir needed help was though bite to him, but he swallowed his pride and said it. "..I need help. I'm not going to make it otherwise.." -he pleaded, his voice turning lighter and whispery in the end.

He confirmed that his search had indeed been unsuccesful and he apologized for not being able to find the pup Treyah had been seeking for earlier. "I failed. There was no sign of her, nor could I find Lacey..." -He was even more sorry for the latter part than about his friend. He knew Treyah would accept him, but Kerberos was the one he'd have to convince. Garmir knew he was not very convincing sight at his current state, but he hoped this wolf possessed something he often did not; Good heart. His choice of words addressed towards Kerberos were little odd however. "Im not a snatcher..."

Treyah Tainn
Treyah could understand Kerb’s insistence that Garmir explain himself across the border, but even in the almost absent light of the night she could tell he was in no state to do so, from the shuddering of his limbs to the frailness of his voice, "Kerb, I dunno if he'll make it back across the border and back..." She lowered her voice for his ears alone, her eyes wide and pleading as the other man spoke his case. "I haven't found any sign of your friend either, but we did find Lacey! It's my youngest brother that's missing now, little more than a blood trail that lead to nowhere so you understand, we're all a little on edge..." She hadn't seen Kerb react this way to another wolf before, whether they belonged within their borders or not. Her look was enough to show that the final decision now lay with him.

Kerberos Rigel
His lip lowered in the slightest at Treyah's words. Had she not have been here, pleading for the sake of this other, Kerberos would have drug the weak male out. What would Treyah think of him if he left the male to die on their borders? Would she still see him as the leader who wanted the best for the pack or would she see him as a ruthless man with nothing good left of him?

Of course, he snapped his attention back to the withering male harshly at the mention of his daughter. He knew too much and his frustration grew but he tried his best to real it back. For Treyah's sake. "If you so desperately need the help, you're free to stay." He paused for a moment before his stared down the male, wanting to make his point clear. "But you will stay in our ranks as lowest until you prove yourself to be otherwise." If the loner was not willing to take that then Kerberos would have no problem escorting the male out.

Garmir Ghostpaw

Treyah's words explained well why Garmir did not recieve the kind of welcome he first imagined, although his intentional trespassing certainly did not help the case either. This pack seemed to have a problem with disappearing young and the latter case did not sound like eager youngsters going out their own to explore. Yes, he understood why the guardian male was on edge and he blamed him not for it. The earthen male gave Treyah weak nod to show he understood her words before the alpha male spoke, announcing his decision.

Garmir had never really felt relief flush through him like he did now and the feeling was so... unique to him it woke him up a little. He was allowed to stay. The terms laid were simple and clear and as the lead male stared down at his newest member, Garmir stared back, not in challenge but to convey his response and signify his sincerity and commitment to what he promised. "You will not regret this..."

Garmir had born to servitude and he had been made into a tool by his former pack. Following orders was no issue for him and truth be told, that was the only existance he knew. Rank was meaningless to him as long as he had a purpose and if he had a purpose, he was satisfied.
