This had to be close. Garmir did not feel like he could continue much longer, his steps already reduced into slow stumbling with some forward motion, which took every bit of his consentration just to keep him on his feet. He had crossed the border, or at least he thought so, not entirely sure had he imagined the scents he had picked few moments ago. He had followed Treyah's instructions, approaching territory from north, crossing small creek just as she had described.
Why was he here? Truth be told, he did not know. Perhaps her earlier offer to join was his last hope, his final desperate attempt to cling onto the parody of existance that he lived in. He had been too proud to join earlier, too arrogant and confident in his skill to find Anaeia before snowfall. This was not the same wolf she had invited to join her pack. None of that calm and confidence showed on him anymore. What he was now was but a broken husk, half way ready to give up on life - not asset he could have been earlier.
His marching came to halt all of sudden, Garmir's body shaking not just because of the cold but because he lacked strenght to stand. He slumped down in snowy ground and let out groan, trying to crawl forward until he gave up on that as well. He buried his head to the ground and begin to laugh with shaky breath. "hh..Ahahhah...Its a joke... Its jus-t a joke.." -He told himself, his laugh calming down for a brief moment until it picked up again.
