The Agouti woman had never had the chance to have pups of her own so she had no idea what it felt like to have one go missing. While she didn't think Kyna was right in her behavior at their borders the previous day she also could only imagine what the mother was going through. Tor a moment she paused in her search to try and imagine how she would feel if one of her own pups was missing or kidnapped. She was sure she would he frightened that she would never see it again, worried of what might he happening to it. So many other emotions she didn't even know if she could name them all.
Hearing Adeltra's paws and her own squishing through the mud and the shiver that ran down her spine from the cold. It only caused her to think about Revon out by herself or with some wolf she didn't know in the cold away from her family. She thought about how scared the pup must be. Blue eyes turned on Adeltra, she too had been missing and had been lucky enough to come across Sven’s mother who returned her to the Ridge.
In her explanation she had tried to be as unbiased as she could be. She didn't want to push her anger of the situation on to the pup. Adeltra was old enough to make her own decisions about things and this was one of those things. Still that didn't mean she wouldn't have questions, Leotie remembered asking Triell questions when she’d been in Oak Tree Bend and even once they had formed the draw. If she could help Addy to understand things a little better then she would be glad to help where she could.
Adeltra brought up a good point as she spoke, something that Leotie hadn't even considered. “I agree, it was like they were saying that we didn't know what it was like to have a missing pup but we do. I wasn't here when you went missing but I saw what it did to everyone who know you. So I think they all felt some sympathy for Greer and Kyna. I don't know if they know that you had gone missing. I've learned that a lot of times others don't think about what could be in someone's past especially when they are so consumed by their own things. So maybe if they knew or thought about the fact that you had gone missing they would have approached the situation in a different way.”
Leotie returned to her search just as Addy had but the girl spoke again. “We are doing it for Revon because no child should be out on their own until they are ready and she needs to be found so nothing can happen to her.” She offered Adeltra a smile, for being so young she was such a strong girl.
