Name: Hideaway Rill (Spectral Woods, Vale of Secrets)
Coordinates: (-54.36776, 86.48438)
Description: In the southwest section of Spectral Woods is a hidden rill that is less prominent than the other water sources in the area. Most of it is barely wider than a large wolf. Some places open up to offer a small pooling of water before continuing on its way in a thin stream. The creekbed is covered with dense, lively shrubbery along with the shelter of the trees on both sides. It's hard to find the place but easy to lose.

He hadn't felt much of a need to wander since settling down in Oak Tree Bend. There was plenty for him to explore the territory. The Bend was well equipped with trees, a river and even sigh of the hills to the east. Chamomile couldn't think of a reason he'd ever even want to leave.

Granted it dawned on him he ought to be keeping a looking out on the surrounding areas. What if there was something that needed to be brought to the attention of @Aponi and @Serach? Like a herd passing through or the nosy company of a loner? Well he wanted to be the one to stumble upon anything first, prove his diligence and loyalty.

He wandered west as his small frame moved with ease through the foliage. He had to wonder if it would ever lighten up or if it was this dense all the way to the mountain. Not that he minded. It was almost as if something had heard his thoughts. The small male broke through a patch of bushes to find a small dip in the earth, a little creek running through the woods. His tail swayed with an eagerness. This might not have been what he was originally looking for but it was a nice find.

I think there's a flaw in my code

Trailing the new guy was an all new low. Quite frankly she had nothing better to do. She hung back just enough to keep from his senses. Or so she believed. She really wanted to catch him doing something that would paint him as the rest. A user in need of food and nothing more. But, so far he was rather boring. He didn't seem to be hunting. Big surprise, insert sarcasm. He was sight seeing? Which she thought was kinda pathetic. At least that was the frame of mind she wanted to keep. She didn't think many loved these woods like she did. Or to merely wander and just be.

Things became a bit more interesting the further away from the Bend they became. Heading toward the mountain, she felt hopeful something exciting would happen. Though she scoffed at such a feeling. She could go to the mountain herself if she pleased. Just because he might go there didn't make him okay or a bad guy. Instead she traversed in the thick brush, only keeping track of him by scent. There was a voice warning her he could turn around any moment and realize she'd been tracking him. That was a voice of fear, and she paid it no mind. So what? He might realize Serach and Aponi were not the only ones he needed to worry about.

Though she did start to wonder if it'd be more fun to challenge her siblings to game. It was always amusing giving them a puzzle to sort out. It sharpened their skills, and she liked to see them squabble now and again. During this terrible time of spring she knew she hadn't the patience for them. Hopefully it would soon come to an end and maybe she could venture on another scouting mission. A faint smile touched her lips at the thought. It was stolen away as she got the trickle of water. That was odd. She didn't particularly know this corner, but it just seemed like a strange place for it. Almost unbelieving she continued, soon enough spying the dark form of Cam. Seeming surprised as well. "Wonder where it starts," she murmurs, drawing closer to his side.

Scout demonstration 1/3 (Learning the lay of the land)

He didn't know that someone was behind him for he had been focused on going forward. But the voice and sudden presence didn't startle him too much. He welcomed the company. "Not sure." He hummed in response with honesty. Green eyes glanced over at her dark figure. He wasn't sure how familiar with her he was. Chamomile had a feeling he had seen her in passing but when wracking his brain he was pretty sure they had never properly interacted.

"We could always follow it for a bit, see where it goes?" He asked with a small tilt of his head. Chamomile certainly wouldn't turn down the company and maybe they could find something even more worthwhile at the end. Maybe it led to something bigger or perhaps they would even stumble across prey getting a drink. No matter the outcome he was feeling a bit determined to explore the stream further, even if it meant trudging through the foliage around it.

I think there's a flaw in my code

Lila hadn't been invited, but he didn't suffer too much shock seeing he wasn't alone. Though she supposed if she wanted to watch him really squirm it wouldn't be too difficult. "Well duh," she murmured with a light chuckle. Of course he didn't know. Though they way he looked at her did he even know who she was? The question was canceled out by his. "Sure," she agreed, wondering when her life had amounted to this. She didn't hesitate to start forward, always being on the move was in her genes.

"So you think we'll find a beaver? I've yet to see one in the Vale."

He swiftly followed her movements, nose held low towards the earth in case anything interesting showed up. His head raised slightly at her odd question. "Huh...maybe actually. Beavers could be why the stream is so small." Had the big-teethed critters set up a dam that blocked water flow? There was only one way to figure that out and that was to keep exploring. The more they explored the more they could learn.

"Do you know any big bodies of water around? It could be feeding off of a lake or pond or something." He figured that perhaps she was more familiar with this place due to calling it the Vale. Location names had never mattered much to the previous nomad. He figured that perhaps they should start mattering now, especially if he was going to stick around.

one more time now @Chamomile
I think there's a flaw in my code

Lila hated conversation. She was as ever terrible at it. Here she was attempting it, and he seemed to wonder why she'd say such a thing. Maybe she was just thinking too much. Maybe he was just thinking about the question after all. He did seem thoughtful. Relaying his knowledge there could possibly be reason for one. Inhaling a small bite of air through her nose, it managed to break the tension in her limbs for the moment. Such a stupid little thing to put her on edge.

They continued she couldn't help but study the ground more than usual. If it might tell her something.

Unready for his question she did not less herself falter in step. Even now she still tried to mimic her mother. Her poise. How easily she spoke. "Well there is a lake on the mountain." That was a great distance. Maybe it could come from there, but she'd never thought about such things. An old memory sparked. "South in the Umbra Cospe is a loch of sorts." She couldn't be sure where it was in precise location to where they were now. She hadn't gone back there. She liked to stick in any other direction but south.

"So you plan to be some kind of scholar?" There was a hint of a tease to her voice.
