Mountain of Dire Dead end

Solas's gaze didn't leave the stranger as Tulip licked underneath his chin. He wanted to bump her in turn but his attention was all for the other male. However, he could still feel her small form relax and he was grateful that his presence was a comfort to her at the moment instead of an annoyance like he always seemed to be to her.

Triell.

A name that he hadn't heard before which probably meant that this Triell wasn't someone that he had met before, unless a different name had been used. I haven't met this Triell. He responded back evenly. Truthfully Solas didn't care at the moment that a wolf had gone missing. Members up and left all the time what made this one any different? If it was a pup like their Chan then maybe but an older wolf? He might have decided to leave.

The stormy male glanced to Tulip's smaller frame when instead of responding to the question she went off to talk about Eden, Aneia, princesses, and some Greater pack. It all meant very little to him but it appeared that she had some connection to the male in front of them. Solas's eyes narrowed. He didn't like it. He didn't like it at all but he kept his tongue still even though he went back to watching this Garmir to see what he thought of Tulip's words.

OOC: Sorry for bigger post. Exciting to finally see Tulip and Garmir meet. >:O !!!!!

Garmir watched the duo with suspicion, careful to maintain submissive appearance in hope of easing tension and thus have room for more questions. The large, dark male told he did not know of Triell, which was shame but it was Tulip's sudden outburst that caught Garmir off guard.

The earthen male's eyes darted to the young female, widening in a shock that was quickly replaced with caution - if not outright hostility. Garmir's previously submissive posture disappeared that instant, his fur beginning to stand and his tail rising as adrenaline surged through his veins. Somehow this girl knew him, knew so much about him and wolves he had once been associated with and that meant trouble.

Garmir's eyes narrowed and he assumed what seemed like a battle ready stance, head moving lower and his legs spreading slighty for better footing. He begin to take few steps back from the two, almost convinced he would be charged at any second now. There were no souls from his former pack that would be sympathetic to him. If someone from past had come to find him - they were here to kill him. Still, only two assasins against someone like him felt like an insult and Garmir's ears moved around as he tried to listen and hear if there were more wolves in hiding. His eyes travelled from Tulip to Solas and as their gaze met, Garmir allowed confident, toothy smirk come into play. He would kill the bigger male first.

Garmir had not even properly thought of words he had just heard. He had only registered names like Eden, Anaeia, Grevious, Silver peaks and the Greater pack. What was it this.. this Tulip had said? Eden saved her and told her to tell Garmir to not kill Anaeia? And what was he to tell Greater pack about Silver peaks? Garmir's eyes moved to examine Tulip little closer. She was young, much younger than him and he had hard time believing she'd be able to match him in combat. Sending someone this young and meek after him felt strange the least - unless she was Wraith - but wraiths did not speak and she spoke plenty, even if with imparity. How old was Eden now? past ten years? Could he really have taken one more pupil into training after their failure? He and Anaeia were supposed to be last ones Eden would train.

Garmir was confused. He desperately required answers. He spoke with with demanding tone, barely holding back a growl as he continued to watch the two wolves with obvious mistrust. "What game is this? How do you know Eden and why would he of all wolves send a pup after me to... to stop killing Anaeia? And what does Silver peaks have anything to do with this? They are a lesser pack."

@Garmir 's reaction didn't boad well with the girl, making her jump a little. She pressed herself into Solas for reassurance. A low, frightened, whine escaping her lips. Narrowed orbs stared at the male in front of her, hackles raising as she bared teeth defensively. She had her Solas to protect, a goat carcass, and her pack.

Seemingly finding a bit of back bone she stepped forward with a fierce snarl that didn't fit her tiny body. She stood in a protect manner in front of her packmate, tail lifting in shakey motion. She was still rather nervous despite the show. Jaws snapped together warningly.

His words washed over her with little meaning. Only holding onto bits n peices, mostly the word pup. She clicked at him, ears slidding backwards. "Tulip no talk till chill!" She growled out her words, "Tulip keep 'Olas n Cove safe! Chill!" Her voice was threatening now, tail curling over her back more confidently. She lifted onto her tipy toes to make herself appear taller. She would not back down. This was her family and she felt that Garmir was not the wolf Eden had spoken of. He was a paranoid coward and not nice at all! She wanted him away from her Cove out of protectiveness towards her pack.

TULIPDAY  

Tulip has a speech impairment that causes her to talk with a severe lisp and has selective mutism. I will not be writing her words to reflect this (outside of going mute), but ask those who roleplay with her to understand it's implied.

The reaction to Tulip's words was instant. Caution and hostility where obvious on Garmir's face and when he stepped back into a position that looked ready for attack Solas lowered his own head to protect his throat. A low warning growl rolled up his chest as lips lifted to bare fangs. The only thing that stopped him from going forward was the pressure of Tulip against his side and the whine in her throat. Curving himself slightly to shield her from view he glared at the other wolf not liking the smirk that was directed at him. If this male thought that Solas would go down without a fight he had another thing coming.

Tulip did something that seemed completely out of character for her as she stepped in front and snarled. Solas might have taken a moment to be impressed with her desire to protect him and her display of dominance but if anything he should be protecting her not the other way around. Plus he really didn't want her to get hurt should it come down to a fight between them.

Garmir spoke asking or rather demanding answers but Tulip didn't feel obligated to tell him instead she demanded that he 'chill'. Solas simply stepped forward to Tulip's side hoping to make it clear without saying that he wasn't going to let her protect him. I have no idea what you guys are talking about or who this Greater Pack is. And he didn't. The names and places they were talking about meant absolutely nothing to him. However, the seemed to mean a whole lot to these two. I suggest you do as she says and relax because I don't think anyone else in the area is going to know what you two are talking about. Solas snapped as his tail lashed behind him. He didn't like the other males tone of voice and he also didn't like being out of the loop, and in this he obviously was, but if Garmir didn't relax then things were just going to escalate. Solas knew that the same could be said for him as well.

Garmir realized rather quickly these two wolves were not here to assasinate him, although that still did not shed any light into the mystery girl and why she knew so much about him. Garmir could not think of anyone whom would be in his side after his betrayal of the Greater pack, especially Eden whom had trained Garmir in first place. Having both Anaeia and him betray the pack would not be viewed favorably on the old man - and yet this little pup claimed she had message for him from Eden?

The scarred soldier calmed down - although never thruly dropped his guard. As long as there was enough distance between him and the two he did not have to turn violent. The stormy male spoke reasonably and Garmir nodded in response, his tail lowering somewhat and his hackles going down. "I'm calm. Thought you two were... something else."

His eyes then turned to Tulip, whom clearly was most upset over his sudden change of behaviour. Garmir tried to remain as chill as possible as he asked the question again. "I am not here to harm Olas or cove - but I need to know what did Eden say to you."
