With a hunk of meat in her jaws, and ignoring her mind she followed her heart into the pack den. She'd already checked there was no one else, but her nose twitched again. Double checking the further she went inside. Thrill and guilt shifting beneath her dark pelt. It wasn't like she was doing anything bad but for once she just wanted his company. She didn't want to tiptoe around Leotie or the kids. She'd felt like everyone else had had their turn, wasn't it hers? With all the routines of the other Willow wolves she hoped she might get at least a moment before they were interrupted.
Clenching her teeth tighter into the flesh, mindfully she made her way to him. His familiar scent helping to push some doubt off her shoulders. His figure came into view and for a moment she stood there, taking him in. She was till unsettled by it all and yet marveled just like the day she'd met him. Unsurprised by his strength.
Did he know she was here? She couldn't quite tell if he was sleeping. If she should clear her throat, test the waters. But the daughter of the moon decided just standing there was a waste of time. She might not get what she came for if she didn't take it. All she wanted was a small piece.
Putting lunch aside, she drew closer as he still had ears and nose to tell him it was just her.
"Hey," she murmured for starts. Then with a sweep of her tail she got down onto the floor, crawling to him so she could sweep her nose through the long hairs of his neck. "How's today?" The question a soft whisper she wasn't scared to ask.
