Embla
March 2nd, Early Evening, Light Snowfall, 35°F, 3.5°C.

Following the events that had proceeded within the willows, Embla had fled back to the river to cool off.

Toes, tickled by the water which lapped at the river bank as she stopped for a drink, eventually plunged in deeper after a moment of hesitation. Deciding then to put some more distance between her and the tawny male, she waded further into the rapids as she sought to cross them in favour of the opposite side of the river bank. The freezing water splashed and tugged at her thick coat, soaking it through and leaving it to hang in heavy strands from her small slender frame.

Rising up to clamber over the large stones and sediment which fringed the river's edge, her coat dripping, the female gave a thorough shake and set about in search of a quiet secluded spot to dry off and settle down out of the snow. Hot wet paws left clear icy prints upon the snow covered woodland floor as she weaved through the trees, finally sliding down to lay beneath the looming shadow of a large fir tree. Placing her back to the trunk, she felt reassured that she would not be snuck up on again.

Content for now, Embla began to groom herself, her salmon pink tongue licking tenderly at her paws and fur as she attempted to dry off.

Zavier Elliot

Having traveled for some lengths, the ghost male was tired enough to take a rest alongside the base of a large fallen fir tree. Zavier had managed to get a few hours of much needed shut eye until noise from behind him awoke him. Though the noise was a distance away, seemingly coming from the river he had scouted. Keeping where he was, he blended in perfectly with the snow that still clung to the forest floor so if the noise maker decided to come this way, Zavier was sure they would have a good chance of looking over him.

And indeed, he was correct as his emerald gaze followed the form of a smaller woman as she trampled through the woodlands before settling herself underneath a fir tree only a few yards from him. Her markings were very similar to that of his, though her eyes were a dark amber hue. Raising his alabaster head from his paws, the starkness of his coat against the dark brown of the tree trunk would surely be noticeable to the female as she began to groom herself. Zavier wondered just how long it would take her to realize she wasn't alone...

Embla
Licking gently at her soaking wet paws and limbs, Embla was content to shelter from the snowfall beneath the fir tree and dry off. However, not long after she began her grooming, did a stark white figure pop their head up from beneath a nearby tree. Embla paused mid-lick, and mirrored their movement by raising her out head to stare across at them, her eyes hot and fiery through the flurry of snow which danced between her and the arctic stranger.

Immediately she felt annoyed. It seemed she could have no time to herself without some wandering male gracing her with their presence. She sniffed the air, inhaling the male's musky scent on the breeze, before deciding to get up. Water from the river still dripped from tendrils of white fur which hung from her frame, whilst the rest of her pelt clung uncomfortably to her sides. Storming over to confront him, all wet and disheveled, she let her frustration (and her raging hormones) get the better of her and released a loud growl in his direction.

Stopping a few metres short from him, fiery amber eyes glared down at him and her pearly white fangs flashed out from behind her charcoal lips as she scowled. "What the fuck are you looking at?! Go away!" She snarled, before Embla moved to face him sideways on and gave a hard shake of her pelt - an attempt to assault him with a spray of water - before she glanced at him again over her nose, her tail swaying proudly behind her. That should teach him.

Zavier Elliot

The ghost watched intently as the female spotted him, her gaze blazing as she lifted her head from her grooming. He could feel the hot, blistering heat of her gaze before she moved from her spot underneath the fir tree. Snow falling down between them in hopes of cooling the fiery woman as she made her advance towards him, Zavier keeping his body relaxed upon the ground where he had taken his nap.

Emerald gaze lingered on her curves as the water clung to her body while she stormed her way towards him, the only inclination of him moving was him lifting his head further to get a better look. Her growl sent shivers down his spine. He knew the heat affected females differently and perhaps his favorite were the ones that were feisty and hard to get. Zavier certainly loved a challenge.

As she scowled down at him, his own inky lips grew a smirk as she snarled at him before turning and giving her pelt a good shake, showering him with all the droplets that had once accentuated her curves. For a moment, the male almost let his annoyance get the best of him, however, Zavier kept his calm, his stoic face showing nothing aside from the smirk that still lined his ebony lips.

Raising himself upon his paws, his lumbering form towered over the female as she swayed her tail over her back. His smirk then turned into a toothy grin, "Why I must thank you mon ange, I was getting too hot looking at your beautiful face." he drawled in his accent as he let his emerald gaze stare down at her.
