Llinea Ingersdatter
takes place immediately following this thread on 8/15. Please let @Asmund reply first. Special call-out to @Viorel but AW to any DEB wolves. @Reyjiek

Llinnea ran. She could hear her bror's pawsteps thudding behind her - or was that the beating of her own heart? Was that her mor's blood still clogging her nostrils or the man's rank breath upon her? She couldn't risk looking back. She had to keep running.

She was not used to running like this and her legs were quickly growing numb, heavy with a weight she could not carry. How far had she run already? She must have crossed the territory by now, right?

Llinnea risked a glance over her shoulder for her bror and cried out as she tripped, tumbling to the hard ground and flipping end over end. She lie stunned for a moment, trying to find the breath to get her paws back under her and continue.

It seemed an impossible task.

Asmund Ingerssen Valle
Asmund ran without feeling anything, from the ground beneath his dark paws to the thundering of his own panicked heart. Once more everything was a blur, that now-familiar ringing sound the only constant for his senses. Llinnea fell, and her sibling noticed but did not react. He kept moving, leaving her behind without a second thought. All that mattered was escaping those crushing jaws.

He saw something ahead of him, and began to scream. Unintelligible, piercing and desperate. Someone, anyone, make it all stop.

Viorel Valle

Viorel had been alarmed when on his border patrol he had smelled in the distance the scent of blood, undeniably wolf, and heard some kind of scuffle. Quickening his pace, salt and pepper hairs along his name standing up in discomfort, he had no idea what he was going to walk into. By the time he heard a cry of a pup he was at an all out sprint, and came in perpendicular to where the children were crossing the border line. Asmund’s scream only pushed him further until he closed the gap between himself and the children.

Skidding to a halt, he gave Llinea a quick sniff to ensure she was not the one who was bleeding, before nudging her back to her paws. His heart pounded, what the hell was happening here? As calmly as possible he asked, ”Llinea what happened? Where’s your mother?” They didn’t do much without the three of them, and then a panicked thought, ”Where’s Archer?” His son had been back for a few days, and he spent a lot of time with the small family.

Yellow eyes lifted and scanned the treeline, trying to discover some kind of clue as to what was happening, what he needed to prepare for.

Reyjiek was a bloody mess, most of it not his. He saw the little one bolt away and he couldn't help but laugh. He decided he would make a game of it. Chasing her would be fun, fun indeed. More opportunities for Chaos. He decided to let her get a little bit of a head start before chasing her down. He waiting by the body of his now dead "lover". He looked down and a big grin creeped onto his face.

He was counting in his head to 15, enough to give the little girl enough time to get a decent ways away. Once he hit 15 he started out in a trot, then went to a full blown sprint. It was then that he smelt the smell of another little one, so there were two of them. More fun. More chaos. As he got closer and closer to the little ones' location he smelled another person and came to a skidding halt about 50 feet away from the origin of the smell. He saw the little ones and a wolf he wasn't sure if he had seen. His stupid grin slowly started to fade. This could get difficult.

Llinnea could feel her heart in her throat as she floundered to regain her feet and keep running. She ached from her fall, but she couldn't let that stop her. As she finally rose she was aware of Asmund flying past her, screaming, and she quickly followed suit.

As if from smoke, the man she knew as Archer's far appeared, asking her questions she did not have the presence of mind to translate. She just scrambled to get around him, crying all the while. "Mor!"(Mom!) she sobbed. "Han er en dårlig mand! Han tog hende væk!" (He's a bad man! He took her away!)

She skittered beyond, throwing herself into the bushes and hoping to hide. Maybe Archer's far could protect them? He was bigger than Mor, maybe he could scare away the bad man.

Asmund Ingerssen Valle
Viorel burst from the brush and flew past him, going to Llinnea's aid. Asmund stuttered for a moment, sliding to a stop and trying to communicate with the man. The best he could manage was the word "drept" over and over, though he didn't truly expect him to understand. They'd hardly been understood before, why would now be any different? Asmund sobbed dryly and turned, continuing to run inward.

Viorel Valle
As per the rolled hit, Viorel is tackling Rayjiek.

Viorel did not understand much of the strange language that the children and Inger spoke, but he did catch a few words here and there. The one that made his blood run cold was Mor he knew without a doubt that’s what they called their mother. He looked wildly at the retreating form of Asmund and instinctively called for the pack, somebody, anybody, who was nearby to come and collect the children and alert for danger.

Yellow eyes flicked towards the movement in his peripheral vision and fangs were instantly exposed at the sight of a blood soaked stranger. He didn’t recognize the man, but it was clear this is who had done whatever it was that had happened to Inger. Judging by the blood that literally dripped from the fur of the stranger, the mother was most likely no longer in this realm.

Viorel was not sure exactly why the stranger had not started running the second that he had seen the children were with an adult. But, that didn’t really matter. The leader charged forward, closing the distance between them quickly, and ducked his head low to protect his neck as he threw his weight against the stranger. He wanted to knock him to the ground. He wanted to make them pay.

Rayjiek Nordansk
Reyjiek was not very interested in starting a fight that he could lose, especially if there would potentially be a pack involved. He wanted to cause more chaos, he wasn't done yet. He needed more chaos. So he decided the best plan of action would be to leave this situation before it turned unfavorable for him. As he started to leave the other started to charge at him, so he picked up speed to try and escape. The didn't prove to be very fruitful as he was shoved to the ground.

In his tumble he shot out his fangs in an attempt to try and grab the other. He had to fight to survive at this point. He had come this far and it would be a shame for his chaos to end here. He didn't realize that Inger had found this many people. He knew that he had smelled the sent of her on those two he ran into near the water, but the fact that there could potentially be many more would not be great.

In an attempt to try and paralyze the one who tackled him in fear, he had also started to say, "Inger, no more, chaos brought the end. No more Inger, just little ones. They too will be gone."

Llinea Ingersdatter

Llinnea was aware of her bror running past her, babbling a single terrible word over and over as he fled. She'd hunkered down, trying to stay behind the friend and hide, when he'd abandoned her. To the girl's horror, Viorel charged the stranger who had taken her mor from her. Her eyes went wide and she couldn't contain the scream that left her throat. Mor had done that, Mor had attacked him, and now she was gone. She didn't want Archer's far to die too!

But it seemed he might fare better, as the strange blood-soaked monster turned to run - until he was knocked to the ground. Then he was fighting back and snarling out words. The fear struck through Llinnea again and now she knew she couldn't stay to watch - she followed her bror into the bushes. If the stranger killed Viorel the way he had her mor, she needed to be as far away as possible.

Archer's attack was a miss

Archer Valle

Archer had been on his way to see Inger and her children. He was so close... but not close enough. He heard his da's desperate call. There was a tone to his voice the boy was not used to hearing. He picked up his pace, racing to answer and skidding to a stop when he heard the screaming. He quickly resumed, faster now, and arrived just in time to see Llinnea's tail vanishing into the brush and his da knocking  down a man-

That man.

The crazy man, the one he'd been trying so hard to keep away from his home. The one they'd just run into getting water.

The one that was currently covered in sticky, fresh blood.

Horror swept through Archer, quickly followed by pure rage. A snarl ripped its way from his throat, so loud he very nearly missed what the man was saying. "No more Inger, just little ones. They too will be gone."

Archer was not a violent man. He much preferred caring for others and leaving the fighting to more capable wolves. These words, however, filled him with a vitriol. He couldn't contain himself. He charged in to assist his Da, teeth seeking to rend flesh and drown the smell of Inger's blood with the crazy man's instead.

Unfortunately, in his haste, Archer's paw slipped. He managed to avoid crashing into his Da and upsetting the whole confrontation, but he missed his blow on the pinned target in favor of avoiding landing on the ground himself.

Archer is very haggard and thin; it is obvious he is not doing well.
